As my friend Ruth Weir has stated in her review which is the truth, no way would she or my husband frighten any child they spoke to Mr Gupta away from his house , I was sat at the hotel crying in pain after my op from spinal surgery, ask your receptionist from that night about it, and please do tell how any money was refunded when it was pay on arrival as agreed with Mr Gupta, Ruth spoke to a lady when booking who rang her back she put it on loud speaker so I could hear, Mr Gupta was in the background shouting and I quote " you have the same room as 2 weeks ago which has a separate bedroom from the main one, room 16 , free breakfast and a bottle of prosecco in the room" . This man knew we were there for a funeral. After a 4 hrs drive in agony arriving at 8pm to be told our room has been given to someone else and we had to have a double room with a child put up bed, now me and Ruth are best friends but even I don't find it appropriate that she shares a room with my husband. We are in our 60s and none of us are slimmer of the year , so please do not anyone believe the dross Mr Gupta has replied to Ruth if in fact it was him , as he is not the lovely man we met twice before and was shown around the hotel. Again no refund as we had not paid yet , then the poor lad on reception had to tell us at 11pm we had to leave the hotel Mr Gupta did not even have the balls to do that himself , so I truly advise anyone take note of the locals who warned us not to use this hotel as it has a bad reputation for treating guests like crap .
