Euro Hotel Harrow

Please do not book this dirty, stinking, hole. Problems with card being declined even though money had left my account. Hot water tap would not turn off resulted in sleeping in a sauna. Windows, walls, tiles, shower door, skirting boards all mouldy and dirty. Toilet would not flush, Drawers with no bottoms, Drawers containing half used and mouldy loaf of bread, crisps and biscuits, left by previous guests. The whole building is smelly and damp. How on earth did they achieve 3 stars. The place needs to closed down,

We stayed here as we were watching a concert at Wembley Stadium and had left it last minute to book our hotel. The usual travel lodge etc was fully booked so this was a last resort. The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the local underground station and only two stops from Wembley. However, the room itself was awful. There was mould around the shower in the bathroom and on the ceilings which they had attempted to cover with some very badly fitted ceiling panels. The floor had a large dip in it, which they have tried to disguise under several layers of very poorly laid Lino and a folded towel. When I lifted the Lino there was broken concrete and bits of rubble in a hole in the floor. The bathroom was so small I could not dry myself in there after using the shower and had to stand in the room to dry off. The sink and toilet were so close together that I banged my elbow on the sink sitting down on the loo. The taps were broken, the tiles were broken, just very poorly maintained. The bedroom was in a similar state with mould and damp stains on the ceiling. All the furniture was old and badly damaged, the curtains were ripped, it was generally in a bad state of disrepair. It was apparently a no smoking hotel but the walls and floors were stained yellow and the was a faint smell of smoke. There was a small fridge in the room but it didn’t work very well. The bedding appeared to be fresh and clean but that was about the only positive. Breakfast was included in the price but given the poor conditions in the room, we thought it was best to eat out and went to a local cafe for breakfast. I paid £360 for two nights and although I expect to pay higher prices in London, I was well and truly ripped off. It was like a smack heads bed sit. AWFUL!!!

This hotel is up there with the worst places I’ve stayed. I’ve slept with the army in Afghanistan and the conditions were better than this place. Nothing like the pictures. Mouldy windows and ceilings, bedrooms stunk of tobacco. Dirty and unpleasant. Was told we’d get refund but never received it. Avoid at all costs. Sleep on a park bench. Cleaner and healthier

It was so nice to stay there .. clean room and linen, very appropriate location , friendly staff and best rates.. it’s strongly recommended .. love to stay there again .. can’t find such a good hotel in these rates
