"Overnight stay in Harrogate, hotel in a great location within easy walking distance of the town centre for shopping, dining etc. We opted of a king room which was very spacious with a huge bed. Breakfast had a great selection of food to choose from and the full English was excellent. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
"Impressive old building, great location, lovely breakfast. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom which was great but as we were at the rear it was a bit dark as we looked out onto walls and the paintwork being a little dreary didn’t help but the bed was very comfy! Would have appreciated a bottle or two of water in the room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay."
"We often stay in Harrogate but had deemed this hotel a bit far out of town. Far from it. It's a pleasant stroll of 5 minutes through a nice residential area to get to the main shopping and eating areas of town. The Hotel has plenty of parking (small daily fee) or plenty of on road parking closeby (right outside of a weekend).
In particular the staff were excellent. So many smiles and so pleased to help. We stayed for a function and the event room and servicing were very good (nice crossiants). Well done Cedar Court you exceeded our expectations."
"It's just that the facilities are too old. It would be better if the facilities can be improved. The room is relatively large. For me, the location is more convenient. There is no air-conditioning and there is a garden. I feel that it should be refurbished to be worthy of the price."
"A lovely stay in a delightful hotel. Polite, helpful staff coupled with a lovely room, quite small but perfectly adequate for a solo traveller. The bed was so cosy and the bathroom was armed with a powerful, refreshing shower. I also sampled the food from the attached restaurant - The Fat Badger - which was delicious. I shall look forward to returning in the future."
"The room was really well presented as was the rest of the building. Had a good size tv with all the smart apps you need. Cooking facilities worked well with enough to cook dinner and breakfast. Communication was really good with clear instructions and easy remote access. Would visit again."
"Good location, friendly staff. Lovely quiet room. Breakfast was good, not a massive choice but good quality. Did not eat in the restaurant but looks lovely, nice menu, will definitely return."

Great
LLauraAmazing from start to finish.
Breakfast was delicious, great options.
Room (lodge suites) we’re warm, noise proof and clean
Food, slightly on the more expensive side, however good size portions and delicious so worth the extra money!
Attention to detail throughout our was unreal.
We will certainly be back!!
张张I originally wanted to order Rudding Park, but I have seen the room type and I have been entangled for a long time. I chose West Park and then I was alone in the RP official website. The same 4 stars difference is too much. The suite is very low cost and the restaurant that WP comes with is very expensive. Brunch ate 30+ pounds
GGuest UserWe loved staying in this little hotel, a large and clean room with comfy bed and pillows, spotlessly clean and well stocked coffee and tea tray. As we stayed on Friday, the carvery was served and the food was good (the beef and roasted carrots was excellent) and plentiful with the price you can't beat. Excellent value for money, the same applies for drinks. Welcoming staff and free parking. Despite being positioned by the road , we had a peaceful night , no outside noise. We will stay again here as all together, it was a good hotel to stay in and I recommend it to others , for visits of Ripon, Fountains Abbey, Dales...
GGuest UserThe cost of the accomodation didn’t quite match the level of service we would expect. The location is grand and the facilities are really good, as is the breakfast.
However, the pool is limited to strange times for families such as during breakfast and dinner, when the middle of the day is would be more suitable.
Also someone chased after us when leaving the spa to return the towels, which two children were using, rather than allowing us to leave them in our room for housekeeping to collect.
The house keeping took two turns to send shampoo to our room, after a polite call, they sent shower gel instead.
In summary, great food and facilities, but it’s bit awkward with children to be there and the service in the spa and housekeeping is lacking.
CChristine.whiteheadGreeted with a friendly face and directed to reception. It’s a massive hotel old but clean and interesting. Our room 333 over looking the back of the hotel green lawn. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the tea making facilities, which were polostrine cups like takeaway ones. Maybe from Covid, and the tea milk and sugar in a tied up bag, no tray. But later on we ordered sandwiches from the bar and he said that he could get them to our room if we wanted to rather than wait in the bar for them. That’s when I asked for a real cup and he said that he would send two up with our sandwiches. Nothing is to much trouble, I would and will be staying here again.
Lleslie198676The hotel is very magnificent, the bar downstairs is great and very popular at night; the location is excellent, and the surrounding area is very convenient for dining and shopping. The room is a bit old, but it's OK; what's worth complaining about is the poor sound insulation, which affects sleep when there are many people downstairs.
GGuest UserI stayed one night only but had a spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed which was great. I enjoyed the evening meal, though choices were limited, and a very good buffet breakfast. The hotel was conveniently situated next to the train station which was ideal for me. The staff were friendly and welcoming too.
