Wynnstay House

Stayed here for two night for a local convention and the location was great! A couple of things thought is that our room did not lock and also if the bathroom light was on more than 2 minutes it would make a really loud noise. Other than these though it was a good stay.

My wife and myself will have been here for 3nts by the time we go home tomorrow and it’s been a brilliant little place to stay in Harrogate.Wynnstay House is tucked away in a quiet tree lined avenue about a 10mins stroll from the town centre.Parking isn’t a problem as you get given a permit to put in your car so that you don’t get booked. We stayed in the Huntly room on the top floor which was a good sized room with everything that we needed and the added bonus was that it was very quiet all the time.We just had the continental breakfast which was adequate but you can have a fully cooked breakfast at an added cost. We can recommend this place to stay and if in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again as the owner is very friendly and very helpful.

My partner and I spent a weekend in Harrogate and stayed here two nights. The B&B is in a quiet area very close to the centre, so it is easy to walk everywhere. The room we stayed in was big, with plenty of space to relax and a lovely bay window. The continental breakfast buffet was good, with a choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, bread and charcuterie. We found it perfectly adequate to fuel our sightseeing. A permit is needed to park on the street and this was provided by the hosts, which also gave us clear instructions to check-in. Overall we had a very good experience.

They have kinda missed the point that the second “B” in “B&B” stands for “Breakfast”. Only a meagre continental breakfast was served - which may be alright on the continent but is totally unacceptable in England where we expect a full cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, fried bread, mushrooms, baked beans and fried potatoes, for example) to set us up for the day. Having said that, the staff were nice, the rooms comfortable, if rather jaded, and the location within 20 minutes walk of the town centre. Just a pity that they send you out hungry.

I loved everything about this B&B! They were friendly and helpful from start to finish, giving us precise instructions on how to enter the building as it has a new (and very nice!) keypad on the outer door. It was easy to find, easily within walking distance of the Harrogate train station, about 10 minutes' walk if you're walking slowly, and also very close to the town centre. The beds were SUPER COMFORTABLE. I stayed in Goodrich, Room 6, with my mother-in-law and we had separate twin beds. The whole room was so nicely-decorated and spacious, the pictures online really don't do it justice. Breakfast was healthy and lovely, plenty of toast if you want it, not a cooked breakfast but that was fine with both of us. The coffee downstairs was just delicious. Everything about this stay was perfect - the room was faultless, everything spotless, everything fabulous. We will definitely stay here again! Don't wait, go ahead and do yourself a favour and book - and enjoy Harrogate!

Lovely place located on a nice quiet street a few minutes walk from the town centre. Very nice hosts and comfortable room with en suite shower/toilet. Nice simple continental breakfast/cereal/croissants etc. would definitely stay again….
