1. Upon arrival I requested a meal deal only to be told that an evening meal was not available due "equipment issues". 2. On Friday morning, notes pertained that there would be only a continental breakfast available. However this consisted of only toast and cereal and was informed that a refund would be made (no refund forthcoming). 3. On Friday evening I was informed that no evening meal was available (again) due to "equipment issues" however it was apparent that this was a staffing issue and that I was told lies as to the reason. 4. On Saturday evening I was able to have an evening meal however having been seated for a while I had to chase a member of staff to take my order who subsequently had to check with the replacement chef if the order was possible to fulfil. 5. When asking reception about room cleaning I was told that only towel replacement and bin emptying would be possible. IN SUMMARY: I was completely disappointed with my stay having to find alternative food in a local area which sported only one other, rather expensive, restaurant. On the other occasion I had to go to a supermarket to pick up cold food for my evening meal. I would expect a hotel chain of your reputation to have enough staff cover to facilitate meals and breakfasts as on the Friday there was only 1 member of staff covering reception and the restaurant. I would like a refund of the breakfast as stipulated by the receptionist on the Friday morning in question.
