We have just stayed at Clifford Gardens Motel for 4 nights for a hockey carnival. When checking in the fellow on reception just asked for money and gave me a key. No confirming my booking with me, no directions for parking, no information whatsoever. The least communication I've ever had checking in anywhere. I had to ask for the invoice. There was no information in the room either, no milk and the bathroom was quite mouldy. Our toilet would not flush at first and the man on reception was helpful though this shouldn't have even been an issue. After a few days we realised the "service" was only the bin being emptied. I had to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper and tea bags. Milk was in reception, I don't understand why you would not provide in room or at least ask on check in. I also had to ask about laundry facilities and on our last night discovered there is Wifi though we haven't been given a password. 2 nights we returned to our parking space taken so I assume they do not explain to any of the guests where to park. Overall it was a room which was all we needed but definitely could no with some improvements especially in regards to customer service.
