Half a block from the gorgeous Susquehanna River, our beautiful and spacious 3-story home has original artwork and unique touches throughout. Dine in with our newly renovated full kitchen or walk to one of the many restaurants nearby. Our fenced in backyard and seating area is a major plus in the city, not to mention a reserved off-street parking space is included as well. Our house has central air throughout and a supplemental window unit for the 3rd floor loft.The neighborhood: Historic Midtown is the best neighborhood in the city! You'll be staying between the gorgeous Susquehanna river and the historic Broad St. Market. There are many great local breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, an independent movie thearter, and galleries within walking distance. Be sure to venture out on Third in the Burg, the 3rd Friday of each month when local galleries and venues open their doors late into the evening to celebrate the local arts scene. You also are less than half a mile from the absolutely majestic Pennsylvania State Capitol which offers free tours every half hour during the day. Catch a Senators baseball game on City Island or bask in the glow of the fireworks as you sit on the steps along Riverfront Park. Our house is 20 minutes to Hershey Park, 10 minutes from hiking trails, within walking distance to the train station to get to Philly/ New York/ DC etc. You really cannot beat this location! The Master bedroom is blessed with a 4 poster king-sized bed and huge walk in closet. The eastern-facing windows let the most pristine morning light in in the mornings. On the other hand, if you like to sleep in, our black-out shades will keep it dark and cozy. Black-out shades and high-end linens provided in every bedroom. The back bedroom has a queen bed and a smart TV, great for occupying the kids. The loft bedroom boasts a queen bed and a seating area for hanging out separately from the group. The 100% down mattress futon can fold out to become a 4th bed, so luxurious, it may win out as the most comfortable place to sleep in the house. Enjoy some fun in our back game room, outfitted with a foos ball table, child and adult games, and books. The kitchen is newly renovated and fully stocked with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. The bright and warm front dining room has soft and warm morning light for waking up with a cup of coffee in. The living room is super comfy with real leather couches and a smart TV. The full bathroom is spacious with double vanity and shower/bath. Towels provided. We may also pull ONE permit, per rental, for a guest to park along the street for $20. Guests must provide their vehicle information and payment at least three business days in advance of their stay to allow sufficient time to pull the permit from the city.The first floor offers a completely renovated kitchen, complete with brand-new Kenmore appliances and gas range. As well as an enjoyable area to relax and socialize with your fellow guests. There is a 55 in. LED 4k TV with cable and Roku in the living room. The second floor offers two bedrooms; one with a queen mattress and the other a full. The larger of the two bedrooms also offers a desk for a work space. Both rooms have their own flat screen TVs with Roku to stream Netflix, Hulu, and Disney +! The second floor bathroom offers a rain shower and houses the brand new washer and dryer for convenience. There is also a small deck to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while overlooking Midtown. The third floor is the primary suite with a queen mattress and an on-suite bathroom with an antique claw foot bathtub. This room also has a flat screen TV with Roku as well as lots of charm!
