Place was fine but every time you turn the tap or flush the toilet there is an almighty noise from the water pump that services all the rooms. Couldn’t sleep because of the noise from it. Goes off whenever anyone in the rooms uses water.

Stayed for one night with my husband we got no sleep at all every time someone turned the water on or flushed the toilet it was like having a jack hammer in the room, then when we got up and wanted a shower there was no hot water so had to leave without being able to shower. The door leading to the room was so badly fitted that when it was locked you could see out into the carpark over the top and down the side all in all a terrible stay even though the room it's self was quite nice but would not recommend or stay again we were in room 16

Stayed with my husband for one night on route to our destination. A great find! Clean, comfortable, roomy and excellent value. We had a room on the ground floor with its own front door next to the hotel car park. The bed was very comfortable, nice linen and towels. The room had a bath and shower and lots of hot water. There was a good large TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We were really pleased with it. We ate at the pub in the evening which was nice food and really great value. Likewise the breakfast (included in our room rate) was also good. All staff we met were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. In terms of opportunities to improve I would say the heater in the room (we didn’t use it) was rusty and the window frames, behind the nets were very grubby. The one thing that downgraded the stay for us was the abundance of cigarette butts outside. There were loads of butt and rubbish bins everywhere yet people were flinging half smoked cigarettes off the balcony! I’m not talking one or two, there were dozens and dozens of them. I can see by the amount of bins the hotel have supplied that this is a guest behaviour issue as opposed to the hotels. Perhaps a ‘warning’ notice may help- if they did this in the street they would get fined.

Went to watch England euro match in bar. Staff very polite and helpful. Very clean pub with plenty of room, comfortable seating , large garden, with play area for children. Food wonderful and the landlady is very welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend

Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Secure gated rear parking area ideal for our motorbikes. Arrived late and left early so didn’t have any food, just used it to get a good nights sleep.

Went here for my tea but have been here many times for breakfast. I was served at the bar by a really friendly, welcoming young lad. (Scarborough). He was called Tom. He had great conversation and had me laughing. Not many get this old 66 year old to laugh like this. He is a breath of fresh air. He honestly needs to climb the ladder in order to run a place with so much positivity. Thank you for a lovely experience. Secondly we had our food served to us by a lovely young man called Cade. He was very polite and made sure we were looked after. Some places the food is dropped and that is it. Cade took the time to make sure we had everything we needed. He wasn't imposing on our time but did everything really well. The food was cooked to perfection so thank you to the Chef. I did send my compliments to him/her. Plenty of food and not tiny portions. I had gammon which was delicious, My husband had the mixed grill and he said it was fab, although he did fancy a bit of steak. Very reasonable prices. Lot's of parking spaces. No need to book as the accomodate quickly but we went early before the teatime rush started. Clean place. Lovely outdoor spaces with a small playpark for the kids. Breakfast is always great. The staff are so nice. I am from the friendly North East so I loved their friendliness.
