Hotels in Chinese-Baroque Daowai Areas, Harbin

It's located right on the pedestrian street. The exterior has a really charming, old-fashioned look, but the interior is quite modern and lacks that same quaint appeal. Our street-facing room wasn't noisy from the outside, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the soundproofing wasn't very good, so we could hear sounds from other rooms. The service was excellent. It would have been even better if the interior had also maintained that traditional, charming aesthetic.

The hotel is situated by the river, so in the evenings, we enjoyed strolling along the bank, taking in the river views, and watching people fishing and dancing. The subway station and the Chinese Baroque Historical District are just 500 meters to the south. We parked our car in the backyard and didn't touch it for our entire three-day stay. Firstly, there's a somewhat bustling flower and bird market right outside the entrance, and secondly, Harbin's subway and taxi services are so convenient that there was simply no need to drive. In fact, it's particularly well-suited for families, as our kids absolutely loved visiting the nearby market to see the cats, dogs, and parrots. The hotel is quite generous; the spacious lobby offers plenty of seating, along with complimentary coffee and bottled water. The room itself had numerous highlights: the stylish decor, a large TV, comfortable bedding, a Tmall Genie smart speaker, and excellent air conditioning and hot water.

The room was spacious and the heating worked perfectly. It offers convenient transportation, being just a few hundred meters from Chinese Baroque. Plus, there's a large supermarket only dozens of meters away, which was incredibly convenient. We stayed for 5 consecutive days, and everyone was very satisfied.

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. Its prime location, near popular areas like the Chinese Baroque Museum, makes it convenient for dining, drinking, and sightseeing. The hotel also boasts comprehensive facilities, including smart home technology, comfortable separate wet and dry bathrooms, and a practical gym and laundry room. The service was warm and attentive, proactively offering assistance. The room was clean and odor-free. The breakfast was plentiful, and the freshly prepared food was delicious. Overall, the experience was excellent!

The hotel is situated on Baroque Street, and the surrounding area is absolutely lovely. It's also conveniently located near the subway station, making it very easy to get around. The friendly front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a street-facing room with a view, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night, which ensured a peaceful sleep. The hotel itself, while not huge, is compact and very charming. I particularly enjoyed the lobby's features, especially the fireplace. My room wasn't enormous, but it was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Their service truly deserves special commendation. Having traveled from afar, I started feeling unwell in the middle of the night due to the climate difference. A staff member actually accompanied me by taxi to the hospital. I was profoundly touched by this extraordinary act of kindness. If I ever return to Harbin, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.

This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The front desk ladies were very enthusiastic. They smiled and guided me throughout the check-in process. They also asked if I needed to adjust the direction of the room. They answered all my questions patiently. The room was clean. The sheets and quilts were white and stain-free. The seams of the tiles in the bathroom were cleaned. There was no dust even on the corners of the table. It was very comfortable and reassuring. The details were so well done. I will definitely choose this hotel next time!

The location is excellent, within walking distance of attractions like Central Street and the Songhua River. There's a morning market right outside, and a small courtyard. A breakfast shop selling tofu pudding and wontons is just 50 meters away – incredibly delicious, I could eat there for three days straight! The room was very comfortable. The smart speaker in the room allows voice control of the curtains and lights, and the projector screen is large and clear. The bed was big and comfortable, and most importantly, the shower had great hot water pressure – a very pleasant shower! Every detail in the room showed the owner's attention to detail. The handsome owner was always responsive and helpful, providing excellent service. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Erbin! The Starway Hotel is a hotel that our whole family likes. We chose Starway again when we went to Harbin this time. The only drawback of this choice is that there is no parking lot inside the hotel. The nearby parking lots are all charged at 5 yuan an hour. Later, the hotel waiter introduced me to a free place. Although it is a bit far from the hotel, it is okay, about ten minutes' walk. I booked two deluxe family rooms, and the air conditioning in one of them broke that night. The waiter immediately found a maintenance master, but it was not easy to repair. He changed me to an ordinary family room that night and refunded me the price difference. The next day, he quickly changed me to a new deluxe family room. The service of Starway is very good. The breakfast variety is a bit small. I have stayed in the Starway Hotel in Anguo, Hebei before. The environment of that store is quite good and the restaurant has a lot of choices for breakfast. Overall, the service, hygiene and facilities are good. By the way, there is a small problem. There is no air conditioning in the corridor, which is a problem. It is very stuffy in the summer and there is a smell of no ventilation. I hope it can be improved.

The mattress is moderately hard and soft, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. I slept until dawn. The breakfast variety is super rich, with both Chinese and Western food. The freshly made fried eggs and wontons taste great. The hotel is also very conveniently located, with many shopping and dining options around, and it is also convenient to take a taxi. Next time I come here, I will definitely choose here again!
