Hotels in Harbin Sunac Land/The Sun Island, Harbin

The location is very good, quiet in a busy city. It is close to the Ice and Snow World and Diamond Sea. It takes less than 10 minutes by taxi. It is 15-20 minutes from Central Street. The hotel service is also very good, and everyone is trying their best to meet the needs of the guests. Full of sincerity and warmth. I just want to make a suggestion. If the suite has executive privileges, can the minibar charge be cancelled? In fact, the minibar in the room is basically the same as what the executive lounge can provide. The Shangri-La executive privilege rooms in Ningbo and Hangzhou have cancelled the separate charge for the minibar.

Very nice rooms and good breakfast. Location a little in the middle of new town construction sites. The mall 10 mins walk away is great for shopping and restaurants. The hotel restaurant only offered breakfast but it was ok to order deliveries in. Hotel is slightly weird in that it’s also seems to be a neo natal staycation hotel with many nurses and families members hanging out in corridors at all times of night. Main issue with the rooms was that they were 28 degrees C and there was no way to cool them down slightly to be able to sleep well. Opening the windows didn’t help and the hotel aircon was understandably set to heating the room - maybe something they can think about. Nice hotel and a good stay- just didn’t sleep well.

We spent three nights in this hotel and found it to be a little further from everything we wanted to see and do, but that did not make our stay any less pleasant. The staff were attentive and incredibly friendly. The hotel looks out on a lovely pond that is frozen sold in winter and covered with a thick layer of snow. A perfect playground for young and old alike. Catching a Didi from the hotel is also fairly easy as it isn’t stuck right in the centre of the ice festival activities.

The hotel does very little to communicate and fully explain in detail to their guests when they check in, we did not know that the hotel was offering dinner to their to its guest on the day of our arrival, we had to ask around, and in so doing it seemed as though we where trying to get crush for a free dinner, the package we booked for had an executive lounge happy hour and light dinner, we had to prove ourselves that we had booked and paid for a package deal. The hotel really needs to improve on their service and alert their guests on what is happening in the hotel so as to avoid embarrassing and unnecessary confusion. The room was clean, but the amenities offered are not up to par. The air conditioner was not making the room cool enough. The room was hot, and the air was tight. The food was good and we were satisfied, this was the best part for my family and I, we where actually skeptical thinking that it's going to be all Chinese but surprisingly we ate more than we anticipated for. The hotel is a good hotel. Would i recommend someone to go and stay there? Yes! But they need to seriously improve on communication and overall service towards their guests, especially foreign guests who want to try out Chinese cuisines, you need to raise the bar and look for service providers who are bilingual so as to facilitate a good service. And please add more pastry recipes to your menu 😋

Xin Yuhang, the employee that works in Sun Castle Resort Hotel is really nice, helpful and friendly, helps us with the difficulties we had throughout our stay there. Because of our language barriers , he was patience to translate it to us and despite the crowd that kept coming in and making him busy, he handle one by one with class, professionalism, and each person's help. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel and holiday in Harbin. Thank you so much for making our stay a great one. We'll rate this 10/10

I changed several hotels in Harbin in a few days, and I like this one the most!! The room is big enough, and the Ice and Snow World is just across the road, which is so convenient. You know, after a tiring day, it’s so nice to have a hotel so close! They gave me souvenirs, which turned out to be earmuffs! Gloves! Warm baby!!! So thoughtful, it’s a lifesaver to bring them to the Ice and Snow World. You know, I didn’t bring gloves, but gloves are so important, my hands are really cold!! The interior of the hotel is also good, very atmospheric, I strongly recommend everyone to come here!!!

The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and there are all kinds of food and shopping around. It is super convenient whether you are on a business trip or traveling. The room is spacious and clean, the bedding is soft, and the sound insulation is very good. You can sleep until you wake up naturally! The facilities are also new, and the Wi-Fi speed is very good. The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, and the check-in and check-out efficiency is very high. The room service responds quickly, and even proactively provides [specific services, such as night bed service/free mineral water/children's products], which makes people feel at home.

We had the most amazing stay in the Deluxe suite in this hotel✨️ From check-in, the staff were welcoming and very efficient in getting us settled. And all our interactions with them were pleasant. Our room was clean, warm and very lit. ​There were complimentary fruits, fruit drinks and soda. We also had access to a coffee machine in our room. ​The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even lotion which smelled so good, much like vetiver. ​There was an air purifier and a humidifier to help with the dry air. The breakfast was really good and I appreciated being able to do 'take-away'. I also liked seeing that the take away option was widely available and much supported by the hotel's preparation of boxes and bowls so that there wouldn't be food wastage or recycling. We were able to do our laundry (wash and somewhat dry) by ourselves. The location of the hotel was easily accessible by car and Sunac Land is 3 minutes away. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.😊

Wonderful resort that is worth spending a night or a few at if you’re in Harbin. Polite staff and nice atmosphere. Rooms are also nice and clean. The hot springs area is beautiful and some of the themed pools, like the hotpot with real vegetables, is a fun touch. I thought it would be super crowded here but I was happy to see that it was very comfortable and plenty of space to accommodate all guests. Will be staying again some day!

I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and very helpful even they have language barrier for us as foreign, they try to understand us with hp translation. My room was spotless with comfortable bed and everything was clean and well stocked throughout my visit. I stay for 2 night, I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.
