An old hotel, the facilities look a bit old. The location is excellent. It is very close to Central Street, Flood Control Memorial Tower, Songhua River Railway Bridge, Cross-River Cableway, Ferry Terminal, and the subway. Across the river is Sun Island and the Polar Museum. It is very convenient and suitable for walking.

Great location, right across is the start of Zhong Yang Street. We went mid Dec, with temps of around -10 to -33 at night, the hotel location allowed us to still be able to do some sightseeing by just crossing the road. The rooms are warm and spacious. Hotel breakfast had a good variety, a great plus point having hot breakfast on site! Hotel right on a busy road made getting taxis very easy. It's under 10 mins walk to Sophia cathedral, walkable during the day if wrapped up warm! Train station is around 10 mins away, airport around 35mins away by cab

If you can’t buy a premium ticket, just stay here! It is 30 meters away from the south gate of Ice and Snow World, and you can see the Ferris wheel from the hotel! Russian-style architecture, tall and luxurious, comfortable to live in. The most important thing is that it is only 30 meters away from the Ice and Snow World. When you go out and cross the road, you will reach the south gate of the Ice and Snow World. It is already the happiest existence to queue up and wait to enter when the temperature is more than 20 degrees below zero! The world of ice and snow is really beautiful! Although we have to queue up in the ice and snow at more than 20 degrees below zero, it is ”worth it” in one word! The world of ice and snow under the sun is pure, and the world of ice and snow under the night is colorful! I heard that the Ice and Snow World had started to be dismantled yesterday. I couldn’t help but feel sad when I saw the ice sculptures that had left beautiful memories melting and being dismantled. Looking at the photos, I was even more amazed! The location is excellent. It is on Central Street near the Songhua River Flood Control Memorial Tower. Nearby is the famous Lucia Russian Restaurant. When you are tired from shopping on Central Street, you can take a rest, take a nap, recharge your batteries, and then go out to continue shopping. It can be said that it is very convenient. of. The overall appearance of the hotel, lobby, and corridors all look good. However, the double bed room we booked is smaller and feels a bit unwieldy. Larger suitcases are not easy to spread out, and the bathroom is particularly difficult. If there is water leakage, after closing the bathroom door and taking a shower, there will still be a lot of water in the corridor outside the bathroom, making it easy to slip. The hotel staff are very friendly. Traveling with friends, we all felt that this hotel was a good value for money.

I was staying in Harbin as part of a wandering holiday, I chose this hotel due to its proximity to St Sophia. I came to Harbin in search of good Russian food and we not disappointed, although the Russian BBQ proved to be the best of our selection. Access to cars via the Didi app was fairly easy, but the oneway system meant that we sometimes had a ten minute wait. The staff were kind and helpful and we had plenty of instant coffee provided to keep us going. Our only critism was the limited size of the breakfast room and the limited nature of quality offerings.

Think this is a 4-5 stars hotel locally. The lobby is decent, not posh type. The rooms are cosy and beautiful. Kids like the kids room, toys and the sport car bed. All toiletries are provided and have kids version. Very thoughtful. Have a welcome fruits n snacks platters with high class mineral water. One thing we didn’t like about the hotel is it has a weird smell when we stepped out of the lift and walked towards our room. Like ‘salted fish’ smell. Not sure if it is from carpet or some food brought in by others. The smell was also in our room. The hotel is at a busy road junction facing Songhua River. Around there are many local eateries. We had a hard time finding suitable food for us and kids as their local food are mostly beef, lamb and duck innards and spicy. End up we took a taxi and went to a restaurant called Sheng Tian Fu, recommended by the driver. Taxi drivers not many are familiar with this hotel, and have to show them namecard. Not too difficult to get to attractions such as Harbin Polarpark, Sofia church and Zhongyang Street. More convenient to travel by taxi as these places are not exactly very near hotel and it can be cold walking a distance of 1-2km. Hotel provides decent breakfast with reasonable variety. Waitresses are friendly and proactive to chat with you and recommend you what to eat. One of them is called Xiao Liu, nice middle-age lady. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and may go back if we go to Harbin again and if the pricing of hotel is cheaper.

This is a budget hotel and I asked for a budget room so my expectations were modest. However, what I received, was below modest from my experience. Room was warm enough and size was tight. Bed was ok but funny round shape. There was no division between bedroom and bathroom which made the shower experience too cold. Also I found a bug in the bathroom (alive). Location was very convenient, but even with that I wouldn’t repeat this hotel.

Many of the previous reviews confirmed. We arrived late at night but were able to check in easily. The location was spectacular near many coffee shops and Russian restaurants. We even stumbled upon a nearby karaoke bar on the pedestrian street! It is near enough to walk to the Sophia Cathedral (which is seemingly closed). Ice and Snow World is far enough to need a car but close enough that it’s a quick ride. After hours of touring in the cold, the heated floors were much appreciated. The bathtub was also very nice.

Grand Mansion 1903 Hotel 🏨 is still as good as ever. I stayed here with my children in 2019. The children liked it very much. Both the decoration and the service of the hotel are very good. Have breakfast in the hotel's century-old wine cellar. Freshly fried steak and omelettes are the specialties. They taste very good and there are many varieties of breakfast. When I came to Harbin again this year, I chose the Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel. When I checked in, a handsome guy with a very nice attitude saw me bringing an old man and two children with him, and he even offered to give us a breakfast. The feeling of staying here this time is still very good. The waiters will meet all our needs. If I have the opportunity to come to Harbin again in the future, I will still choose Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel.
