Staff were as friendly & helpful as one would expect at an Atour - even when working over Spring Festival. A major reason I often choose this brand. I had an issue with heating in my room on the first night, but was moved to another as soon as I mentioned it. Once in my 2nd room, heating was no issue. Especially appreciated when it was -32c outside. There isn't a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the metro station is nearby and Snow & Ice World easily accessible from there. There's also a few shops & restaurants nearby, which is handy.

Overall, the service at Harbin Shangri-La is good. The only thing to criticize here is the front desk staff wearing black uniforms who checked in at noon on the 17th! I had made a reservation for a quiet room, but when I went upstairs, I discovered it was a connecting room! Why give a non-standard room with worse soundproofing than a normal room without prior consent from the guest? For this reason, I spent 30 minutes to change rooms! (I would like to commend the female staff member who helped me move up and downstairs twice and ran in with a birthday cake to rearrange my room.) After a long journey, I wanted to go to a hotel to rest, but I still had to worry about such a simple thing! Compared with the enthusiastic service attitude of employees in other departments, the service at this front desk is very stiff. It is recommended to focus on retraining! I would also like to commend the concierge who was responsible for loading and unloading luggage and the female staff in the executive lounge who were responsible for reception on the morning of the 18th, the aunt who was responsible for cleaning on the 17th on the luxury loft floor, and the boys who were responsible for the omelette area in the breakfast room on the first floor. The staff (he cooks porridge and omelette by himself, and is responsible for a large area) are very dedicated, enthusiastic and courteous! Special praise for the birthday cake given by the western restaurant. The packaging and materials are very good, especially the cream part. Because there are guests coming over, the amount of mineral water given is very large. The breakfast provided is good in terms of style and quality. There is snow outside, but the room is warm and warm. In spring, it’s not far from the world of ice and snow. I’ll stay here next time on a business trip and take a look at the ice lanterns.

This hotel is nice enough, fairly newly renovated with big clean rooms and our river view room had a lovely view… but it’s in a *very* inconvenient location unless you have your own car or private transport booked. It’s only a 15 minute drive to the ice and snow world that’s true but good luck to you getting a didi or taxi to come to the hotel in the morning to take you there!!!! After trying to book a didi multiple times with no response we had to take the 1 hour+ long bus instead. There’s also nowhere nearby to go for dinner within walking distance when it’s -20 degrees. The reception staff are also quite unhelpful (our taxi driver to get us to the station came to wrong spot - all we wanted was for reception to talk on the phone to the driver) and eating food when they are working.

早餐真的很一般，能選擇的種類少，連基本的湯粉，湯麪都沒有，牛奶還是奶粉沖出來的，想吃個烤吐司也沒有，是完全不顧南方人的口味嗎？房間插頭位置也不合理，防盜鏈還是壞的，工作人員培訓不到位，拿走一次性用品後居然不補充，三個床衹收拾一個？我無法理解。衣架配備很少，四個人的房間按理來説一個人兩個衣架，最少也要八個，結果衹有六個衣架，要知道冬天的衣服很厚很多都要掛起來。淋浴間沒有拉繩，你讓我洗好的衣服掛哪晾曬？也不放個臟衣簍，用完的浴巾都不知道放哪，就到處亂塞.....一個晚上一千的酒店不至於做的這麼差勁👎🏻唯一一個優點，有加濕器！

If there is water leakage, after closing the bathroom door and taking a shower, there will still be a lot of water in the corridor outside the bathroom, making it easy to slip. The hotel staff are very friendly. Traveling with friends, we all felt that this hotel was a good value for money.

Lovely hotel near to the ice festival so I'm glad that I wasn't too far away from all the sights because it was very cold there. A warm comfortable room and a delicious breakfast.
