This hotel is ideally located in the centre of the city, near to all the main shops and restaurants. You can also walk to St Sophia's cathedral. This place has a lot of charm and character! TV didn't seem to have any movies or anything beyond the regular channels but it was nice and comfortable. The set breakfast was ample and tasted good - it looks as if they have abandoned the buffet style. Staff cannot speak much if any English but I can speak enough Chinese and they were friendly. Overall it is clean and worth it for the price.

Grand Mansion 1903 Hotel 🏨 is still as good as ever. I stayed here with my children in 2019. The children liked it very much. Both the decoration and the service of the hotel are very good. Have breakfast in the hotel's century-old wine cellar. Freshly fried steak and omelettes are the specialties. They taste very good and there are many varieties of breakfast. When I came to Harbin again this year, I chose the Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel. When I checked in, a handsome guy with a very nice attitude saw me bringing an old man and two children with him, and he even offered to give us a breakfast. The feeling of staying here this time is still very good. The waiters will meet all our needs. If I have the opportunity to come to Harbin again in the future, I will still choose Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel.

Facilities: quite smart, quite complete, quite advanced Hygiene: Very clean, 6-star treatment, the leader should not forget to promote Xu Xin, there are not many talents Environment: quite wow, quite good, the river view is particularly beautiful, spectacular and unobstructed Service: Very satisfied. I give a special thumbs up to the Jilin beauty Xu Xin who served at the front desk. It is really a five-star service. It is not as good as this service when I go to Atlantis Sanya. You really can't fault it.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and tried to meet my every need. The interior design and background music create a special atmosphere. I received unlimited water and coffee capsules supply. I'd definitely stay there again.

*Disappointed after so many good reviews…* We recently travelled to Harbin and after looking at many of the hotels and reading the reviews we decided that this was the hotel for us. However we were shocked to find the poor service and cleanliness during our stay. Location: The location of the hotel is a huge plus point as it’s very close to the central street & not too much of a distance to reach the main tourist attractions (20/30 min taxi ride). The location is also close to lots of restaurants which is very convenient. Service: This is an area which could definitely do with improvement especially the evening staff, upon checkin the staff were friendly and welcoming however when we raised issues with the hotel room they became very rude and disrespectful. When we arrived to our room we found we had no face cloths - not a big issue and one that was resolved in a timely manner. However we then had to ask for the face cloths each day after housekeeping had changed the towels which isn’t an issue in itself more of an inconvenience . However the staff at the front desk seemed to find it quite funny (staff members laughing when we mentioned our room number at the front desk) that we had several issues with our room. Amenities: The hotel has a robot delivery service for when you order food and other items from meituan which is a convenient way to get your things. The shower in the room was broken but was fixed in a timely manner. The room air con is basically just an ornament, the temperature of the room cannot be changed - it was set at 34 celsius one night - you can open a window but it will get cold quite quickly. Cleanliness: Another area with room for improvement - the hotel room is rather dusty with dust falling from the ceiling above the bed. The sink was not cleaned when we checked in. On one occasion we were given ‘fresh’ towels with make up stains on. Unfortunately we would not stay here again.

Think this is a 4-5 stars hotel locally. The lobby is decent, not posh type. The rooms are cosy and beautiful. Kids like the kids room, toys and the sport car bed. All toiletries are provided and have kids version. Very thoughtful. Have a welcome fruits n snacks platters with high class mineral water. One thing we didn’t like about the hotel is it has a weird smell when we stepped out of the lift and walked towards our room. Like ‘salted fish’ smell. Not sure if it is from carpet or some food brought in by others. The smell was also in our room. The hotel is at a busy road junction facing Songhua River. Around there are many local eateries. We had a hard time finding suitable food for us and kids as their local food are mostly beef, lamb and duck innards and spicy. End up we took a taxi and went to a restaurant called Sheng Tian Fu, recommended by the driver. Taxi drivers not many are familiar with this hotel, and have to show them namecard. Not too difficult to get to attractions such as Harbin Polarpark, Sofia church and Zhongyang Street. More convenient to travel by taxi as these places are not exactly very near hotel and it can be cold walking a distance of 1-2km. Hotel provides decent breakfast with reasonable variety. Waitresses are friendly and proactive to chat with you and recommend you what to eat. One of them is called Xiao Liu, nice middle-age lady. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and may go back if we go to Harbin again and if the pricing of hotel is cheaper.

If you want to stay on Central Street, this hotel is a great choice. There are lots of shops and restaurants around you with in walking distance. It’s roughly 10 minutes away from the nearest train station however getting a taxi is just around the corner. The staff didn’t speak English, if any very broken yet it’s not a deal breaker, because all you have to do is hand them your passport at check-in. The room had everything you would need or expect from a highly rated hotel such as a kettle, hair dryer, tv, etc. Feel rest assured that the rooms are well insulated too. We had -32 degrees outside in the evenings and didn’t feel cold at all. The biggest let down was the quality of the bathroom. The shower head didn’t spray water very well and the shower door had to be fixed during our stay as the water sealant ***** was loose, thus water kept running on the bathroom floor. The hotel is showing its age but not chasing be away. Yet its not the newest hotel, definitely one of the best placed. One highlight was the breakfast spread. I booked my room with breakfast included and I’m glad I did. There was freshly baked goods, fresh fruits, eggs and meat, some Chinese dishes and some cereal. Glad to have been able to leave the hotel in the mornings with a full stomach.

We had a great experience of having spent 4 nights in this wonderful hotel Wanda Realm in NanGang Harbin. The location of the hotel was so handy to basically everywhere: 4 minute’s walking distance to Xicheng Hongchang Plaza; 5 to 6 minutes to Wanda Plaza and the subway station (Line 3). The hotel’s reception, house keeping, breakfast, facilities and services are all perfect.

During the peak tourist season, the price is very cost-effective. However, there are a few suggestions that the hotel can improve: (1) The water in the bathroom runs very slowly, and it reaches your feet after taking a shower. Need to be cleared. (2) The towel is actually directly next to the toilet, and it will splash when you urinate or flush. This is so jarring. It is recommended to install a towel rack above the bathtub away from the toilet. (3) The toothbrush is too difficult to use and irritates your hands.

Everything is very good!!! The concierge at the door was warm and polite and took the initiative to help us pick up the boxes and press the elevator to leave. He also helped us carry the boxes when we left. The service attitude was really hard to fault! The hotel front desk staff answered all questions and was very enthusiastic when we left. I was also given Russian chocolate, which was a great experience! ! The dessert table covers a long time, and there are all kinds of coffee, desserts and fruits. The hotel environment is clean and tidy, and the facilities are advanced and novel. All aspects of the hotel have been unanimously recognized by family and friends. I will definitely choose it again next time I come to Harbin. Awesome! !
