I booked The Mist Holiday Banglow on 2025/08/05 for a night stay and paid an advance deposit on 2025/08/31. However, upon arrival, the owner had already given our booking to another customer and refused to provide us rooms. We were a family of 10, including children, and this left us extremely upset and stranded. Such unprofessional and irresponsible behavior is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place to prevent similar disappointment.

I really enjoyed staying this place with kind family. Everything was perfect. View to the beautiful nature and breakfast absolutely tasty with papaya. The owner helped us alot . Thank you for everything. I recommend mist holiday for tourists.

I absolutely loved my stay at this wonderful hotel! Walking distance to town center from the hotel. The view of the hotel was breathtaking, especially with the stunning mountain scenery. Clean room for reasonable price. The owners were incredibly supportive and knowledgeable when it came to hospitality, ensuring that every need was met.Recommend to all.

Our experience changed from very good to average as a result of an issue on the invoice on the final day. The bookings.com amount was approx LKR 12k and the hotel said it was LKR 14.3K. We showed our confirmation to them and it was to no avail. That left a bad taste. If not for this the rest were ok.

I was visit 'The MIst Holiday bungalow' two times, and the best thing I got was the fabulous view of multiple kilometers of southern and southwest valleys. it was a quiet place with good facilities for the cost. there was no cook available at the hotel and we had to manage our meals from outside. If someone asked me to say any negative point, it was a small parking area, but it was not a problem for us. the hotel was within walking distance of the haputhale city and all the facilities nearby.

Very nice hotel in Haputale. The city itself had a much more relaxed vibe than nearby Ella. The room was clean and dry, and the view outside my window was breathtaking. The hotel organized a tuk tuk driver for the day who was excellent. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Good dinner and breakfast, and excellent tea. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a trip to Haputale.

such a lovely place and staff ! The views are incredible , really beautiful place and the host is too nice .Very yummy breakfast .Clean and confortable rooms! I recommend it 300 % ! I hope to go back there.
