The hotel is located at the top a Hill on the outskirts of hanstholm, 2 min walk from very nice views overlooking the industrial fishing harbour and ocean. Very close the bunker museum which is worth the visit. The Hotel was booked by my wife for us to enjoy the west coast of Denmark in a spa hotel. We have done similar trips in the past, just never in this area. We found a decent deal for 2 nights, keep in mind that this is a 4 star hotel so we had high expectations. The spa was a waste of time, full of very loud families, tiny sauna, weird swimming pool and "spa" area. 0 intimacy and privacy basically. I don't recommend for a couples retreat. Our booking included 3 meals for dinner. My wife is vegetarian, thankfully the menu had vegetarian options. The starter was a bad joke, Celleri carpaccio that my wife didn't finish. Her main dish was the chefs creative vegetarian platter = Frozen Falafels (300dkk or 35 euros) again a bad joke. I had pig cheeks that were done in the sousvide because they have a lazy chef, that were being sold as a braised pork chop. The desert was actually a terrible apple compote but sold as a "old school apple pie" Everything tasted industrial, and prepared a long time in advance. The bread was starting to dry and stale. Thankfully the wine we had, was made in France, so the kitchen was unable to mess that up. They opened the bottle infront of us. I don't know where the hotel management found this cafeteria cook, but they either never ate their food and they just don't care about quality. I feel terrible for the young aspiring staff who follow these terrible and lazy malpractices. My blanket was stained. We did not stay the second night. The staff was nice enough to let me choose a bottle of wine from the "cellar" (fridge) to compensate for our terrible evening at Montra Hanstholm.

From you check in till you check out it’s top notch. The reception staff friendly so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The food is fantastic the buffet breakfast has everything and more to select from the evening meal is also top notch and again the staff are exceptional. All in all well worth a visit

It just looks worn down and not maintained well. No toilet paper in the room when we arrived. Dirty napkins and dirty knives when we ate there one night. Service was not great either. Food was decent, but way overpriced. We tried their (very expensive) mini golf course, which was also more or less falling apart. Not recommended and we will definitely not come back.

Top kamer top sauna top zwembad top diner. Rustig en mooi hotel. Top keuken en vriendelijke bediening. Ruime parkeerplaats en mooie lobby. Alleen koffie na 21.00 elke keer niet mogelijk. Puntje kritiek was ook geen handdoeken bij sauna en zwembad.

Fui por los masajes que anunciaban y finalmente no había masajes ??? El servicio de la habitación tenía una pieza rota en el suelo. Ni caso. Sábanas muy cortas. Cobraron desproporcionadamente que me quedara una hora más, como me ofrecieron. No lo recomiendo.

Enttäuschend - das Hotel hat die besten Jahre längst hinter sich. Ein superiorzimmer wäre noch ok, auch wenn man als Besitzer natürlich dran bleiben muss wenn es gepflegt wirken soll. Standartdoppelzimmer ist abgewohnt, Bohrlöcher in den Wänden, schimmelige oder kaputte Fugen in der Dusche. Dazu sehr starker Chlorgeruch, die Rezeption wehrte Lösungsfindung durch Zimmertausch ab, es sei alles ausgebucht. Problem gelöst? Leider nicht für den Gast… Sehr schade, aber das geht deutlich besser
