wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen und hatten aufgrund der Vergangenheit recht angemessene Erwartungen an das Restaurant und an die Speisen. Wir wurden leider in jeglicher Hinsicht enttäuscht. Das Fleisch war von mäßiger Qualität besonders das Event war sehr zäh das Gemüse war lieblos geschnitten und geschnipselt. und der Service war definitiv mangelhaft. Es wurde kein einziges Mal aktiv nachgefragt, ob jemand noch ein weiteres Getränk möchte. Die Teller wurden abgeräumt werden andere noch gespeist haben. Die einfache Etikette wurde schon nicht gewahrt. Früher war das Sellhorn echt ein Aushängeschild für gehobene Gastronomie. Heute ist es nichts anderes, als ein einfaches Gasthaus. Für uns steht fest, dass wir dort kein Fuß mehr reinsetzen.

Alles perfekt! Ein wunderbares Hotel zum Abschalten und Erholen. Das Team hat sein Bestes gegeben, es uns schön zu machen. Kann man nur empfehlen! Unser Landhauszimmer war gemütlich, sauber und ruhig. Das Bad war modern. Speisen und Getränke waren hochwertig. Das Weihnachtsarrangement war gut geplant und ausgeführt.

We verbleven hier na een dagje golfen op Green Eagle. Wat een service: verblijf en greenfees geregeld door het hotel. Lekker eten, verzorgde kamers en supervriendelijk personeel. Private overdekte parkeerplaats, zelfs garages zijn voorhanden. Opladen wagen mogelijk.

Ein sehr schönes Familienhotel in ruhiger Lage mit guter Küche, schönem Wellnessbereich. Wer die Heide und Umgebung erkunden will ist hier richtig. Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und nett - von der Rezeption, dem Zimmerservice bis zum Restaurant. Sollte man Hilfe benötigen ist immer jemand da. Die Speisen sind vielseitig, regional und in guter Qualität. Beim Frühstück ist für jeden etwas dabei. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Tipp: Auch Ausflüge nach Hamburg zu empfehlen (mit Auto nach Winsen/Luhe - Parkhaus 3,00 Euro am Tag und mit Regionalbahn R3/R31 mit Deutschlandticket zum Hauptbahnhof).

Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel/Tagungshotel. Es hat seinen Charme die unterschiedlichen Anbauten zu erleben wirkt dennoch dadurch schnell unübersichtlich. Insgesamt hat es teilweise auch was von einem Museum. Denn neue Teil ist tadellos. Die Zimmer sind groß und funktional.

Wir waren zum wiederholten mal in diesem Landhotel und haben mit Freunden hier drei Nächte verbracht. Die Halbpension war wie immer gut, dieses mal aber mit Höhen und Tiefen. Wir hatten wieder ein Landhauszimmer, was bei hohen Temperaturen aber absolut ungeeignet ist, 30 € Aufpreis pro Nacht bei 28 ° im Zimmer waren da völlig unangemessen. Ansonsten kann man das Hotel aber Empfehlen, auch für schöne Radtouren in die Heide, so hieß auch unsere Bedienung, Frau von der Heide, sie hat alles rausgerissen, tolle Angestellte. Übrigens, schön ist auch der Pool und TOP die Wassergymnastik.

Das Hotel liegt gut und alle sind sehr nett, aber beim Abendessen sind wir leider nicht satt geworden die Portionen sind leider sehr sehr klein. Mußten hungrig ins Bett 😩 und das wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs war .Der tiefe Teller war gerade mal der Boden bedeckt .

Seit jahrzehnten besuchen wir das Sellhorn regelmässig zu verschiedensten Anlässen. Die Zimmer sind stets gepflegt, das Personal bemüht und die Küche glänzt, trotz umstrukturierter Karte, mit einer Mischung aus exotischen & klassischen Optionen. Alle wohltuend! Die besondere Stärke des Hotels liegt in den breit gefächerten Wellness- und Erholungsmöglichkeiten. Persönliche Empfehlung ist der opulente Swimmingpool, in dem mein Bruder das Schwimmen gelernt hat, und die renovierte Dampf/Saunawelt. Der Wildpark Lüneburger Heide, örtliche Freibäder und Städte, wie Lüneburg, Winsen und sogar Hamburg bieten optimale Tagesausflugsziele. Grosszügiger Platz und genug Man-Power für Seminar-, Geburtstags- oder, in unserem Fall, goldene Hochzeitsgesellschaften ist allemal. Wir verbinden viele warme Erinnerungen mit diesem Haus und freuen uns selbstverständlich auf zukünftige Besuche.
