We had a fabulous stay here! The room was super nice and clean, and came with a wonderful view. The location was perfect, right by Hoan Kiem Lake on a quiet street, yet just steps away from all the Old Quarter action. What made the stay truly special was the owner: incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready with great local recommendations. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I booked a bunk bed type with all female occupants. The location is great once you know how to navigation the places around. But at first it was very confusion for me to locate it since it’s situation in one of the small alleys and haven’t notice right away the small sign of thier hostel name. But over all it was a good location bec it’s really just in the middle if the old quarter, a few walks to the night market, Hoan Kiem lake, Cathedral and many beautiful and instagrammable cafes like the Always Cafe( Harry potter themed cafe). The amenities are good and the toilets are cleaned properly. The attendants speaks English well.

Chose this place because of good reviews but was disappointing. Ground floor cafeteria smelled of stale urine the first 2 days I was there. Took a rook with window and got scammed as the window faced a wall 2 feet away so it was dark with no natural lighting. I'm OK with the alleyway that other travellers talk about as this is normal for vietnam. Bathtub poorly designed sucu that it kept leaking on floor and caused floor to be wet.

The hotel staff were polite and very helpful, especially with handling our luggage. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. A special mention goes to the bathtub—my partner, who is particularly mindful of cleanliness, gave it her full approval. That alone earns a big thumbs up from us! Would definitely book the same hotel the next time we travel to Vietnam!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Tamundi Alley Homestay in the Ham Long area of the Old Quarter! Everything was exactly as depicted in the listing—no surprises, just honest and cozy hospitality. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with all the essentials in place. What really stood out was the impeccable cleanliness of the entire homestay—it felt fresh and inviting from the moment I walked in. Another delightful touch was the complimentary snacks available, which made me feel right at home after a long day exploring Hanoi. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to major attractions in the Old Quarter.

I arrived at Hanoi at midnight. Dropped off by the sleeper bus. When I felt exhausted and desperate, the receptionist cleverly improvised and let me check in earlier. I awe him a big thank. And the room was all nice. It’s definitely a five-star staying experience.

I had a lovely stay at Art Hotel Hanoi! The location is perfect right in the heart of the Old Quarter and close to many must-visit spots. I really appreciated the warm hospitality. I arrived before check-in time, and they kindly took care of my luggage until the room was ready. A big thank you for the sweet birthday card I truly loved the thoughtful gesture! Highly recommend this place for a cozy and convenient stay in Hanoi. 💛

The hotel has been recently renovated, it's clean and tidy, there's a beautiful fountain with fish, and there's someone at the reception 24/7 who speaks English and is polite.

It was excellent very near to shops and main city, plus cheap food around the area and good night life as well. Room was clean spacious and every linen and towels were changed daily.

Pros: 1) Staff can communicate well in English and they are helpful. 5 stars for their service 2) Walking distance to Train Street 3) Some Michelin restaurants is quite near from the hotel 4) Airport transfer, day trip is available 5) A list of nice food/places was given upon check in Cons: 1) No toiletries provided on the first night 2) Room and bedsheet is dusty on first night but room cleaner do not change it on 2nd day too until I have requested it 3) Water pressure is very slow 4) Noisy as near to morning market 5) Aircond sound is loud at night Neutral 1) Simple breakfast upon order
