Hanoi Quan Hoan Kiem Hotels

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and spacious with an amazing view and amenities. The staff we friendly, open and helpful throughout the entire stay. The room had an amazing balcony, which was equipped with a medium sized jacuzzi. The bathroom was large and spacious with a separate and lovely bathtub and shower space. Morning breakfast was delicious, with a variety of meals to choose from. The hotel is within walking distance of West Lake, Train Street and several affordable bars, cafes, and restaurants. The location was convenient to explore the city surroundings and return for a quick rest. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is was affordable for the duration of our stay and was extremely comfortable.

It was my first time traveling to Vietnam. There were many things I was not used to. The most gratifying thing was that I stayed at Capella. The theme concept runs through every detail. Good design is pleasing to the eye. It was also nice to be in a daze in the hotel every day. It was indeed a bit noisy, but the service and design made me turn a blind eye.

We stayed wonderful nights at Splendid Star Grand Hotel. The staff helpful and spoke english. Upon arrival in the morning we were warmly welcomed with a fruit plate & drink. Brien, checked us in even though the normal check-in time was 2pm. He then gave a map and gave us a good brief of where to go, restaurants, and answered all our questions. Apart from Brien, Kimmie was also very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, and had a wide spread of variety. The location of the hotel is superbly central, and very close to St Joseph Cathedral, and a ten minute to the Hoan Kiem lake, and the famous Train Street. The location served our purpose of exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter. Only misgiving was the crowded narrow lane leading to the hotel in which our airport taxi could not enter. So we had to walk about 70meters. All in, we were very happy with the hotel, and will return

With its modern facilities, excellent location, and warm, attentive staff, the hotel provides a stylish, convenient, and relaxing stay for travelers in Hanoi.

The room is clean, so close to Old quarter and many place. But the bathroom always flooded because the floor drain cant open well, and the insulation could be better. But its an experience👍😁

The room is very comfy, and the WiFi is good. The owners are always ready to help, and they offer laundry service. The only problem is that they don’t have lift, and we stayed in the 5th floor. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood.

Exquisite hotel with wonderful Staff and facilities. The French colonial history is showcased in a twice nightly tour of the hotel and grounds. Even if you miss that the staff are proudly knowledgeable and share nuggets of history as you are taken through the beautifully restored property and grounds. Breakfasts are sumptuous (and the Sunday sitting includes complimentary Buck’s Fizz), the restaurants offer great food choices and the location provides perfect access to the old quarter, lakeside walks and cool shopping vibes.

A very cozy stay in Hanoi! Their staff are very friendly and helpful. Would suggest to avoid the rooms in the opposite side of the hospital unless you are fine with the ambulance noise.

The staffs were very polite and helpful. We gotten a free upgrade to the room with super king sized bed. The room was very spacious and comfortable, thank you very much. We enjoyed the drinks and cakes at Garbo bar the price was reasonable for a 5-stars hotel. We will definitely come back to stay in this hotel on our next trip to Hanoi. There are lots of eateries and museums within walking distance.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is well decorated and clean which gave me a comfortable stay in there. What I impressed most are the services provided. We were served with welcome drinks and some vietnam sweets upon arrival. While we were briefed on the facilities and breakfast time by a staff, our luggage were sent to the room which was already in a good temperature when we got into the room. Fruits were prepared and placed on a table with a welcome card. We were also given vouchers for free cocktails on the roof top bar with a nice scenery of the lake. Further, the staff were very friendly and helpful on suggesting places to go and assisting in calling grabs to get around the area. Special thanks to Jennie who has been taking care of us during our stay. I do recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a visit to Hanoi.
