Hanoi Hotels with Airport Shuttle

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel! The location is perfect, nestled in the Old Quarter and just steps away from the Hoan Kiem lake and night market, yet without the usual restrictions on vehicle access. The highlight for me was the stunning pool and the sky bar, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city. It’s a great spot to unwind and take in the beauty of Hanoi from above. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive. They even arranged a hassle-free airport pickup for only $16, which was a great convenience. The only minor downside was some construction happening next door, but it didn’t significantly affect my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, excellent amenities, and incredible views!

This time I stayed with my mother and sister. The hotel was great! Everything was beautiful and it felt like we were inside a museum. The afternoon tea was also delicious. Above all, the staff were all very kind and friendly. They provided excellent service and tried to meet our requests as much as possible. Hotel staff member Sang carefully gave us recommendations for restaurants, and even booked a taxi for us. We were very comforted by his hospitality. We will definitely stay at Capella again when we travel to Hanoi. Thank you very much.

Good hotel. Unfortunately, the window is not that sound proof.. I can hear a bunch of car honking outside, ruin my sleep. The room is very small, like literally small small. It’s basically a community living. If you table and chairs you have to sit outside your room for sharing. Water dispenser is provided outside. Because room is small, the toilet if you shower with hot water.. you can trigger the fire alarm, which I did.

Hotel rooms are beautiful, very clean and comfortable bed, especially Manager Ding Dong is super helpful and excellent service. We can ask anything from him to help us in Hanoi and Sapa! Staffs are friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was great, there are staffs will help you cook on the spot when we want to eat scrambled egg or Pho noodles. From hotel we can go to Train Street in 7mins walking distance, around the hotel there are many local food and drink. Many coffee shop to buy gifts for friends. Also you can take photos with beautiful Church. I recommend everyone to book the Splendid Grand Star hotel and experience yourself.

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was not the experience we were hoping for. The hotel’s facilities are quite old and don’t match the pictures shown online. The gym, swimming pools, and private pools were especially disappointing – they felt neglected and depressing. The whole place is in desperate need of an upgrade. One of the scariest moments during our stay was when we returned to our room and found the door to the room next door unlocked. The balcony was open, and there was something under the blanket on the bed. We were understandably alarmed, so we reached out to the staff, who told us it was under repair. A heads-up about this beforehand would have been appreciated to avoid the unnecessary panic. The bellman was the only staff member we saw doing most of the work, and he looked extremely tired. We genuinely hope the hotel isn’t understaffed and that they’re taking care of their employees. When we reached out to reception about minor issues, like not being sure if the shower head worked, it seemed like he was the only one dealing with everything. It’s clear the staff is overworked, which made the whole experience feel less enjoyable. Additionally, the heater for the shower wasn’t very warm, which made taking a shower uncomfortable. It’s frustrating when basic amenities like this aren’t functioning properly, and it added to the overall disappointment. On a positive note, the food at the hotel was excellent. They offer a variety of options, including Japanese, Hong Kong cuisine, a huge slab of cheese, and delicious Vietnamese dishes. If you’re staying here, the food is definitely something to look forward to. The hotel is also located a bit outside of the city center, so if you prefer a quieter and less busy environment, that’s a plus. However, considering everything, I don’t think I would recommend this hotel, especially given the issues with the facilities, staff workload, and room conditions. There are definitely better options out there for the price.

There is only good things to say about this accomodation. From the facilities to the service and hospitality - everything was beyond our expectations. Our 3D 2N stay was a memorable one due to the exceptional, polite and professional hospitality provided by all of the hote staffs. The lady manager in charge was very diligent, proactive and brimming with politeness. In addition, the receptionist even went as far as sharing places to go based on his personal experience and recommendations. Talk about a good local guide. The food was delicious and the in-house spa services and massages were amazing. Apart from that, even the bellboy help us to secure a parking spot throughout the night for our rented bike despite not having any direct parking space available at the hotel. This allowed us a peace of mind over bike theft. Overall, the highlight of this establishment would be the excellent service quality and hospitality that makes one feel at home - literally. The location is strategic within the old quarters whether you are travelling on foot or on a bike,. I would highly recommend this hotel and surely will be back here again on my next trip.

Location is not good, but all the others were excellent! Foods are delicious, Services are touching enough, and facilites are convenient to use. And room condition was so good. If I visit Hanoi one more time, I will book this hotel without any doubt.

It is a very large department which have two washing room. You can see the city view in the balcony. And walk for 15 mins , there is a Lotte supermarket which is very huge . Under the department there is a mall, you can buy Starbucks coffee and find some restaurants for Vietnam food. BTW, the location is not in the center of the city, so you need to take a taxi for 10-15 mins.

The hotel is located in the very center, a minute from St. Joseph's Cathedral. There are thousands of cafes, restaurants, coffee shops and souvenir shops around. The hotel itself is old, access to the rooms is by regular keys. I was given a room that was not indicated in the reservation, instead of 18 sq.m. they gave me 15 sq.m., of which 3 were occupied by a toilet with a shower and a 2 m closet. The mattress is comfortable, cleaning every day. Breakfast from 6.30 to 9 am, I liked the abundance of fruit. A branch and ATM of VRB bank are 10 minutes away. An unsightly Daiso is 25 minutes away on foot, Miniso is 15 minutes away, Uniqlo is 8 minutes away. There is a coffee shop with delicious coffee nearby. Of the minuses - because of the abundance of cafes and garbage, I recommend watching your step, huge cockroaches are running around. A big minus for the hotel - for several hours during the day, the staff gathers at the door on the 6th floor and talks loudly. This happened all days of stay. It is impossible to sleep. The hotel is for 1 time. I am attaching the ”view” from the window to the review.

The hotel rating appears very, very flawed. This is a 2 star at best. We had to move to alternative accommodation due to the air-conditioning not working the shower was not clean, the rooms didn't feel secure. If I was travelling alone I would have been ok but no good for families. The staff however were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Be aware that late returns can be problematic as they shut the roller door and it took us a long time to contact the right person because they disconnected the doorbell to let us in.
