Hanoi Memory Legends Hotel

On October 7, 2024.. we arrived at the hotel before 12:00 noon. We went to the hotel to check in.. the front desk staff asked for a moment to check.. we didn't wait long before she informed us that there was no booking.. we still showed her the booking that there was a booking and payment already.. the staff kept saying that there was no booking.. does that mean we had to pay for nothing with this hotel? At that time, we couldn't contact Trip.com.. so we decided to call and chat with an agency in Vietnam where we booked a sleeper bus to go to Sapa.. we told him what happened and asked him to help talk to the hotel staff.. after that, the hotel staff asked us to check again who booked the room for us.. the agency that we asked for help explained it like this.. this hotel denied doing business with Trip.com.. they didn't know who put their hotel on sale with Trip.com.. we listened and knew that it was impossible for us to have already booked. They said they didn't know anything.. so we waited patiently and waited to see what happened.. until 3 We finally got a room..and then we just got it out of the blue..They must be wondering how we know the Vietnamese..If that agency didn't help coordinate, I think we would have looked for another hotel to stay at for sure because their intention was clearly dishonest..I want trip.com to check their business partners more carefully, anyone who wants to sell a hotel to you..customers will not be damaged and disappointed when traveling abroad and encountering unexpected events..I want to say that when we got the room, we followed the staff into the room. He was the one who opened the door and led us in..So we recorded every step of the way to show him that we recorded a video. If you want to blackmail us that there is damaged stuff, we will have to have a long talk..This hotel is really bad..it's like a scammer..not including the massage services offered in the hotel..the price is also dishonest. When the time came, they overcharged us..when we moved our stuff up, but our daughter still used the spa service to wash her hair, which is listed in the brochure for everything..when the time came, they charged us more than the actual price and asked for an additional tip of 50,000 per person. Pickled..which these things cannot be forced on customers..until the daughter called and asked her mother to come down and help..then he agreed to charge according to the price in the brochure I would like to leave this with you, whoever passes by this hotel, do not book at all..I have encountered it, it is a shameless cheat..I have been to Vietnam many times, I have never been prejudiced against any hotel..but if tourists see this review and do not believe it, you want to book, I think you will be scammed the same way.
