Rooms were dirty and hotter than the outside. Price being so cheap reflected the rooms cleanliness or lack there of.
Beds were harder than the ground to sleep on.

Missed our flight so had to make a last minute booking at a hotel. Hanoi Gatsby provided good last minute service and the man at the front desk was very helpful too. We booked a family suite for 4 as the notes said 2 single beds and 1 queen, however 1 of the single beds turned out to be a makeshift/safari-typed bed instead of an actual bed. The bathroom was also a bit mouldy and when we entered the room, the sink was clogged. Front desk managed to resolve it promptly. Location-wise, very good though; easy to find and near plenty of shopping and food.

Location is very good. It faces a street lined with restaurants, so you won't have to worry about eating. Walking distance to Hoa En Kim Lake. It is also convenient for sightseeing. The room was clean enough for this price, and since it was a family room, it was very spacious and great. I would have liked to stay for several nights, but since it's the end of the year, there aren't any vacancies, so I think it's popular. The guy in the lobby is also a very nice guy and I feel safe going out. There are famous banh mi and pho restaurants nearby, so I think it's a good place for traveling. The shower has hot water, but the water pressure is a little weak. I think it is sufficient for those who are accustomed to Southeast Asia. There are many shops around, so it's noisy outside until late at night, so it may be a little difficult for those who want to sleep quietly. However, considering the cost performance, I think I would stay again.

Do not book this hotel. We arrived and checked out straight away. The room was very dirty, layers of dust everywhere and stains. The room had clearly been left and not touch in a while. The walls had mold on them and a funny smell. The bed mattress was like lying on a plank of wood. There is no excuse for poor hygiene levels, it takes at little as half an hour to clean a room. Do not waste your money as there are a lot better hotels which are spotless for the exact same price or less…believe me.

This hotel is ok if you’re not terribly fussy. Close to the old town. The people are friendly but the advertised free breakfast is non-existent. It’s a bit shabby, the shower is a bit hit and miss. However the rooms are a good size and they are cool. There’s not too much noise from the very busy street.

Me and my family (including elderly) gone through a 8 hours tiring bus journey from Sapa to this hotel, and we have been told that they cancelled our booking right before 1 hour of our arrival WITHOUT ANY REASON GIVEN. When we complained to the customer service, the staff just said manager went home and he has no contact number of his manager. It is RIDICULOUS and IMPOSSIBLE a staff working and do not have contact number of their superior for emergency purposes! Plus, the staff was irresponsible, zero effort in helping us to resolve the booking cancellation issue, and totally ignoring us! Poor management and bad customer service! IF YOU STILL INSIST BOOKING THIS HOTEL AFTER SEEING MY REVIEW, TAKE YOUR OWN RISK!!!

The reception staff is terribly, The man with glasses unrespectful, He said 50 ı understand 15 and he started say me go out of hotel crazy man how they can work with this behaviour, and he is drunk while I want to Check in
