Overall, it was a very satisfying hotel. It is a new hotel that just opened in March 2025. The location is a little away from downtown Hanoi, along the river, beyond a wall, but I didn't mind it because taxis are essential for sightseeing in Vietnam. Rather, it was nice to be able to experience the real local Vietnamese atmosphere in the surrounding area.
Good points
English is spoken. And since it is new, the room was naturally clean, and it was very quiet and nice because it was located a little away from the hustle and bustle. There was also a smart TV, so I was able to enjoy various content including YouTube. There were plenty of amenities, so you don't have to worry if you forget your toothbrush. It was a double bed room, but it was spacious enough, and there was plenty of room even with my suitcase open. I also felt that the biggest attraction of this hotel was the breakfast. I was very satisfied from the morning, as I was able to get a wide variety of menu items, including pho made on the spot and banh mi made by myself. The menu changed every day. I was very grateful that they cleaned the room and provided two bottles of water every night. Check-out time was 12 noon, so we had plenty of time.
If I had to point out one thing that could be improved, it would be the smell in the room. It was particularly strong around the shower toilet. If they could just fix that, I think this would be a really nice hotel.
The hotel staff asked us if there was anything we wanted fixed during our stay, so I felt they were serious about this hotel. Also, at the end, they carried my carrier to the taxi as I was going down the stairs of the hotel, so I felt they were kind to the very end.
I think this is a hotel worth staying at at least once if you come to Vietnam.
