Sheraton Hanoi West

My recent stay at the Sheraton Hanoi West Hotel was an exceptional experience and left a lasting impression on me as a first-time guest. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the elegant atmosphere and the warm hospitality that defines the Sheraton brand. The hotel’s location by West Lake provides a peaceful and scenic escape from the busy streets of Hanoi, yet it’s conveniently close to the city center, making it easy to explore the local attractions and cultural landmarks. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and offered a refreshing welcome drink, which immediately set a positive tone for my stay. Throughout my visit, I found the staff to be attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with any requests, whether it was arranging transportation, offering local restaurant recommendations, or providing information about nearby attractions. My room exceeded expectations — spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with a mix of modern comfort and Vietnamese charm. The large windows opened up to a stunning view of West Lake, especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with everything I needed — a high-quality coffee maker, fast Wi-Fi, and a luxurious bathroom complete with a rain shower and premium toiletries. Breakfast at the Sheraton Hanoi West was another highlight. The buffet offered a wide selection of both local and international dishes — from fresh pho and tropical fruits to pastries and Western-style eggs and bacon. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service in the restaurant was consistently friendly and attentive. I also appreciated the peaceful lake view from the dining area, which made every morning feel special. During my stay, I also took advantage of the hotel’s facilities — the fitness center was well-maintained with modern equipment, and the outdoor pool area provided a relaxing environment to unwind after a day of exploring. The lounge and bar areas were elegant and comfortable, perfect for enjoying an evening cocktail or meeting with friends. Overall, my first stay at Sheraton Hanoi West Hotel was outstanding in every aspect — comfort, service, and atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I was impressed by how well the hotel balanced luxury with genuine warmth. Located in remote place, nothing much nearby. Will not book this place in the future. There is a supermarket nearby.

Good hotel for business visit. Close to Korean town area and staff are all polite. Gave me free upgrade room which was very generous.

Sheraton West is new but it is not a new built hotel, just a re-developed hotel.  Overall is good, it is the same as typical Sheraton group hotel.  However, the price is not competitive plus the shower head design is very very poor in the toilet.  It is fixed on top of ceiling.  Even you wash your hair, the feeling is very poor.  It is design issue, all rooms are the same !

Stay 2 nights. Receiptionists are really good and friendly. My credit failed because of my daily limit not enough. They didn’t charge me any deposit. Really helpful! But one thing I don’t like was they didn’t tidy up my room in second day. I don’t know why, because second day I left early and arrived in hotel around 8pm. Room was not clean up so I have to use the used towels again. This let me feel down. Need to improve for cleaning!
