I decided to stay in Hanoi longer, and the hotel I was staying in didn't have any vacancies for all the days I needed. I first booked one night here, then realized I needed a second one. The hotel immediately sets a cancellation fee, so I had to make two separate reservations so as not to cancel the first one.
The day before check-in, I received a message from the manager with instructions on self-check-in and warned him that I had two separate reservations, no questions asked. When booking, the room was not specified, and I did not know which room I would get.
On the second day, I received a message from another manager, the room I was staying in was already booked and I needed to move downstairs. I asked if I could stay in the same room. They said "no". I warned the manager that I was in the city and could not return quickly, they said I could keep the same room. Then the manager wrote to me again that I still could not keep the same room and the guests did not agree to changes. I had to interrupt my walk, go back by taxi and urgently pack my things and move downstairs. The room was absolutely the same, no sockets in the kitchen area, the same pointless bathroom, the same broken soleplate of the iron, the same size of the room and the view from the window. I did not understand the point of my hectic move. Maybe the new guests were not happy with the color of the doors by the closet?
Even the problem with the Internet was exactly the same as in the room upstairs. I had to ask the manager to do something to make the Internet work.
I was forced to solve too many problems with this accommodation in two days, I left without regret and will not return here again.
