Pros: The pre-check-in instructions were excellent. The apartment had everything necessary, with very convenient and well-thought-out details. The neighborhood is wonderfully peaceful in the evening. There was a welcoming snack pack provided.Cons: For me, the room was cold at 21.5°C, and the heater on the air conditioner was not working. When I mentioned this, they brought a warm blanket. Starting from 5 a.m., the street turns into a market, which is very noisy, including inside the apartment. If you plan to wake up early or are a very deep sleeper, I highly recommend this place during the warm season.
Wonderful new hotel. The rooms are clean and well-furnished. The location is a bit outside the city center, but there are regular buses, and taxis don't cost much.
Modern place with more than you'd expect for the price but far from anything interesting in the area besides the lake. It looked really clean when I arrived but the presence of a huge cockroach running across the kitchen floor made me realize that wasn't the case. Then around 3 am I saw one on the kitchen counters near my food and dishes. Absolutely disgusting. That weekend I asked them to clean and spray for roaches, which they did and they also set traps under the fridge and washing machine. It was nice to have an insuite washer and the internet usually worked quite well and fast. The place has nice artwork and decorations. The neighborhood is quite noisy though. There's a rooster that starts crowing at 530 am every morning and doesn't STFU until about 9. There's also a cat that meows loudly and an annoying tapping sound every morning. Also the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors easily. Also sometimes a neighbor coughs loudly on the balcony at 2 am and smokes. The smell of the cigarette smoke can enter the bedroom. They supply you with free drinking water which is nice and the water is extremely hot. Careful to not burn yourself.
I stayed in this apartment for 2 nights over the weekend. I wanted to stay away from touristy areas and this it was - a very local experience down a side alleyway. It was easy enough to get a grab bike 15-20 mins into the old quarter. The amenities were basic but suitable for short term. Note that the listing stated there was no air conditioner but there definitely was one in the room. There was however no doona, just a sheet on the bed.
My only complaint was there’s a rooster nearby which started crowing at 4:30am, this combined with the sun shining through the blinds woke me up very early both mornings.
Breakfast not exiting. Not even bean coffee. Only instant coffee. I booked for 2 people, then i got 2 breakfast’s. At least then enough.
Receptionist speaks good english and is very helpfull.
And as guest i should not have to park my motorbike outside. The room itself is exactly like in the pictures. Nothing to complain. It looks like it have kitchen, but its not. The provided bottelwater is very little.
Swimmingpool is ok.
4 days 3 nights trip in Hanoi, we checked in through security, there was no receptionist and after the first day we got sick from the smell and dust of the air conditioner, the cleaning staff here replied that usually the hotel only changes the sheets once every 3 days for customers when we requested to change the sheets after the 2nd day. Same with towels and everything else!
a hidden underestimated gem in West Lake, Hanoi. the room is beautifully designed with timeless wooden interior, elegant emerald ceramic bowls and plates. the room comes with a full functional kitchen, refrigerator and utensils. the big TV has internet - Netflix, YouTube, cable channels.
the location is fantastic: it’s opposite the temple in West Lake, where many good noodles shop located at. minutes walk to the lake.
it’s a peaceful place to rest with a reasonable price in West Lake area, where real estate price tends to be higher than other parts of Hanoi.
i enjoyed my stay at Maison Nha! 💯
I think I've found my favorite hotel in Hanoi. Brand new! Top-notch staff, spotless, magnificent location on the shores of West Lake. A little slice of paradise.
I recently stayed and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk from local attractions and public transport. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast offered a variety of fresh options, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals. Overall, this hotel provided excellent service, making my stay enjoyable and stress-free. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very Good
MMeinaishiVery large and beautiful room, the lake view looked beautiful.
It was a little shallow, but I was grateful that there was a bathtub.
I am satisfied with being able to stay very cheaply.
(I was surprised to leave my passport at the front desk until check-in 〜 check-out, but there seems to be such a custom in Vietnam!)
LLance NgoCame with washing machine . Huge room with cooker and dining table. Near Lotte mall and the lake with many cafes. Pretty clean.
1. Missing a dryer
2. You need to wake up the security coming back late at night
3. No drinking water
MM431441****I chose this hotel in Hanoi for GD's concert. The location is quite good, with many restaurants nearby and a relatively quiet atmosphere.
Pros: The lobby is warmly decorated with flowers everywhere.
The front desk service is excellent and very patient; they even spent half an hour helping me call a taxi.
The room is large and clean.
Areas for improvement: The bedding was a bit damp; the pillows are small (only two). The hot water in the bathroom wasn't very hot. There wasn't enough tissue paper in the room. I stayed in room 302. There's a bar very close by downstairs, so it was quite noisy, but thankfully it quieted down around midnight.
GGuest UserIt's nice and modern, but the location is very far from the center. You could hear everything that was happening in the adjoining rooms or upstairs. People were fighting and shouting at night and in the mornings.
AAnonymous UserHoan Kiem Lake is a prime location, the room is equipped with luxury toiletries, steam bath to relieve travel fatigue, takeaway breakfast + free WiFi is super intimate! Suitable for solo or family travel
JJeremyWuThe toilet has a peculiar smell and is prone to water blockage. The cleaning bell was pressed but it was not cleaned. The sound insulation is poor. The hotel is in a very quiet location. The other facilities in the room are pretty good.
GGaryI've given a detailed review about this hotel on my previous stay. While there are a few deficiencies the location, views and ample room size & design more than make up for them. Hence I'm staying here again and, if possible, will extend my stay further. This place is a great bargain 👍.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful experience! The price was a steal for the quality offered. The balcony was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a peaceful afternoon. The room was well cleaned and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Also very close to the center with a lively view of West Lake right outside. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it!
GGiaosuChuThe clerk is kind and even requires two cards. The interior of the room is very clean, and the windows can directly view the West Lake. Facilities are basically there, as are disposable supplies, as well as coffee and green tea.
