Zimmer sehen nicht aus wie auf den Bildern. Alles ist sehr beengt und klein. Eine Waschmaschiene wie auf den Bildern abgebildet war nucht vorhanden. Eine kleine Küche war vorhanden, jedoch wäre für kochversuche die mehr als eine Dose Ravioli aufwärmen beeinhalten aufgrund von Platzmangel undenkbar. Salzstreuer waren leer. Initial war das Zimmer sehr sauber, jedoch war in den 4 Tagen die wir dort verbravht haben niemand zum Saubermachen dort, was das ”do not disturb”- Schild an der Türklinke überflüssig macht. Auch wurden wir nicht informiert wo wir unseren Hausmüll entsorgen können, dabei war bekannt das wir mit einem Kleinkind anreisen was von natur aus für viel Müll sorgt. Das Bad roch trotz Lüftungsanlage muffig. Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt. Das Wlan war langsam und TV signal teilweise sehr schlecht. Die Nachbaren waren Nachts teilweise sehr laut und haben Möbel verrückt. Der Aufzug ist sehr klein. Mit einem Kinderwagen passt grade so noch eine Person hinein. Mit einem Doppelwagen oder Rollstuhl wird man dort nicht reinpassen. Für Pärchen oder einzeilpersonen mag dieses Hotel genügen, für Familien ist es aber gänzlich ungeeignet. Einzig die Lage war recht angenehm. Draußen war es Nachts bemerkenswert ruhig dafür das es sich in mitten der Stadt befindet. Und die U-Bahn war in wenigen Minuten zu fuß erreichbar

. We were mainly pleased with our 5 night stay. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and the beds comfortable. The lights were excellent with good adjustable lights over the beds. However, there was poor storage space in the bedroom (although good in the bathroom) limited to 2 small open shelves and a high narrow hanging space, which is at right angles to a normal wardrobe, which made it almost impossible to retrieve clothes at the back, especially if you are short (5 feet 2 inches) like me. I regard it as a significant design fault. The decor was very modern with swirls everywhere -the carpet made me initially feel slightly dizzy. We were pleased that we could access Sky and BBC on the television. The location could have been better, although this was compensated by the price. It took around 20 minutes to walk to the station (or longer if like us you are slow), from which one could take a bus, or taxi to the rather spread out tourist sites (we took quite a few taxis from the hotel). However, it would probably be fine for someone younger and fitter than us. Most of the restaurants were also not particularly close. The breakfast was pricey (and there were no local cafes to substitute) but generally very good with the exception of the coffee from a machine, which was OK but no more and the scrambled eggs, which were treated in some way, so they came out in homogenised pellets. The service provided by reception was generally very helpful, although they were occasionally overwhelmed by the number of guests arriving. However, our request for the location of a laundry was not responded to and when we arrived we were misinformed about its location.

Not a place I would normally stay in - expensive and a chain. However, boss was paying and so I was staying. Very comfortable room, good wifi, clean and well located. A short walk to the 8 and 18 train station to go to the show. Good service and good place to stay if you have money

FORA HOTEL HANNOVER by MERCURE 19 July – 20 July 2024 My husband and I stayed at this hotel before our flight to Cape Verde, so I can write only about its location, room/bathroom and breakfast plus parking lot. It’s about 10-minute drive from the hotel to the airport. The taxi fare for this 10-minute drive is EURO 30. The room is basic, but sufficient. There was no mineral water nor slippers in the room, which is a shame. Mercure, really? The breakfast is VERY basic. Not much choice – you eat what you get and you’re on your way. Has no-one considered that travellers would like to have a hearty breakfast before they’re off to the airport, especially when they have a long flight ahead? Definitely something to improve, Mercure! The parking lot is underground, which is very convenient. We left our car there for the length of our holiday (14 days) and collected it “safe and sound”. So this is a big plus. But you cannot book the park-sleep-fly service directly with hotel – it’s only possible by some website. Also, the transfer to the airport is only one-way (before you fly, not after you land so be prepared to take a taxi from the airport). Moreover, they tell you that parking your car there is free – no extra charge to the room charge (which is EURO 100+). We wanted to grab some sleep after we returned from our holiday, but the price for “a room only” would be the same as for the “park-sleep-fly service”, so it made little sense. We decided to pick up our car, and hit the road even though we arrived at 03:50 am. Tough for us, but tough for the Mercure too as they could make some extra money. Oh, and by the way, the location of the hotel is not that nice. We went for a short walk in the evening, and it turned out that it’s a bit hued district if you know what I mean. Just a long street with geshefts – nothing to see in the whereabouts, no walking grounds or parks either. Would I recommend? Not really. If we fly from Hannover again, we’ll stay at the airport hotel next time.

Arrived very late, just a few stops by S5 from Hannover Airport, and walked to the hotel within 10 minutes. High performance-price ratio and convenient transportation. The front desk service is also very good. Nice hotel!

Pas de fioritures mais très propre et au calme. Les chambres sont relativement spacieuses avec tv, rangement et salle de bain séparée. Le personnel est très souriant et sympathique. Petite alerte sur le fait que le Check in se fait près de l’autre b&b hotel (derrière le dekra) si vous arrivez en dehors des heures d’ouverture de la réception. Mention spéciale pour la dame en charge du petit deja urne qui est absolument adorable. Très calme même si l’hôtel se trouve en bordure d’autoroute.

The check-in was very friendly and there were apples and refreshments in the lobby. Also there are only positive reports on the shuttle service to the airport, timely and helpful. I would have expected more from the room. It is tasteful and practically furnished and very spacious and absolutely clean. However, I wonder why there is no ”light” light. The lamps in the room only throw dark indirect light. It was not possible to light the room. That was very well hit the mind. The switch between night-lamp and reading lamp was defect, so not at all, only the inner life was visible, which I think is dangerous. Although Leonardo casts with sound-isolated windows. I could not see any difference to normal glass windows and it was incredibly noisy in the night. Furthermore, the brightness came so that we can hear the TV, toilet noise etc. of the neighbouring rooms well. A water cooker as shown in the room description did not exist with us. Only a capsule machine was available. This was why we had to prepare the water for our tea and thus tasted the tea for coffee. Also very bad that no sustainability is being considered and actually coffee capsules are still offered. For one night to get to the airport, it's OK. I can't recommend a longer stay.
