Elaya Hotel Hannover City

Centrally located with easy access to city attractions and parking options. Exceptionally friendly reception staff and great service. Rich, fresh, and generous breakfast with appealing breakfast area and lobby.

Very messy The hotel is messy. There is clutter in many places, including cleaning supplies (cloths, cleaning agents), garbage bags with used bed linen, cardboard boxes with products for room replenishment. This is not only when they are cleaning. The vacuum cleaners are just pushed into the corner of the hallway. There are empty plant boxes and empty refrigerators. Room cleaning is very poor. The hotel appears very worn. The staff are polite and seem service-minded. But their appearance, clothing, and general behavior are not what you would expect from a service business or even a medium-quality hotel. For example, the reception is empty while the receptionist is smoking on the street. Breakfast was acceptable. There is no coffee maker or similar in the rooms. Soap and shampoo bottles are maybe half full if you're lucky. The good thing about them not tidying up is that you can find an extra bottle of mineral water in the hallway from the cardboard boxes. The location is good. Although the hotel stay is not expensive, it is still far too costly for the value provided. Overall, the hotel seems poorly and unprofessionally managed. It is not the worst - but definitely among the worst hotels I have stayed at.

Please do not be mistaken. The rooms look NOTHING like this. It is not fully clean. Check in closes at 2:30pm and the number doesn’t work that is meant to go through to the hotel. Really wish I had never booked it. So disorganised and simply a money making machine that doesn’t work
