It's an old fashioned hotel, close to the central train station, so it's very convenient to take the train to other city or take the subway going around the city. The breakfast is OK. I do like they give us a kettle for hot water, so I can enjoy my tea.

Only 13.00 arrived at the hotel. Rooms were already free (or we would have just put the bags off) but we were calculated 10 euros per hour for earlier check-in, i.e. 20 euros in addition.
Unsuitable and unconsidered: if all travellers check in at point 15.00, stress would come. In turn, we have not received any refund, although we check out 1.5 hours before date.
Location great, very central. Rooms really really really mini small! Washing basin in the bedroom, no privacy.

In 2021, I spent a total of 54 nights on 13 stays at the Leonardo Hotel. To mention are fast and stable WLAN, free parking, extensive breakfast buffet, good evening menu (the currywurst is especially delicious) and very friendly staff. Outstanding among many good staff is Mrs. Carmen Springmann, the manager should double her salary :-) The good location with a view of the beautiful Tiergarten and the very good price-performance ratio have made me always happy to book this hotel. If you wanted to improve something, then you should renovate the bathrooms, a nice shower would not be wrong.

I find it difficult to rate the hotel fairly. It's totally out of date, the hallway carpet is stained and the room is hopelessly dated. At first I thought it was supposed to be a kind of hotel style, but it quickly became clear that the economy was being kept to a minimum here. Here the maximum is taken out of the situation without bothering to modernize anything. And that would be necessary. And the time would certainly have been during Corona. But what can you expect for €35 a night? For that it was okay. It was mostly clean in the room, everything worked. I wouldn't spend a penny more though. As accommodation for the small euro it is okay so far. I would recommend it to craftsmen who do not have high standards.

We were with the family a weekend in Serengeti Park and we stayed in this hotel. We made the decision because of the price-performance ratio, because there are family rooms, breakfast, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning and you can cancel it free until arrival day 19 pm – with children You never know what's going on. From the way we checked in and then are directly on our rooms, that worked smoothly. The family rooms were already very small, but we wanted to just stay. The breakfast next morning was really good, it was enough of everything there and a super choice. We forgot something in the room at the departure, the lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

The check-in was very friendly and there were apples and refreshments in the lobby. Also there are only positive reports on the shuttle service to the airport, timely and helpful. I would have expected more from the room. It is tasteful and practically furnished and very spacious and absolutely clean. However, I wonder why there is no ”light” light. The lamps in the room only throw dark indirect light. It was not possible to light the room. That was very well hit the mind. The switch between night-lamp and reading lamp was defect, so not at all, only the inner life was visible, which I think is dangerous. Although Leonardo casts with sound-isolated windows. I could not see any difference to normal glass windows and it was incredibly noisy in the night. Furthermore, the brightness came so that we can hear the TV, toilet noise etc. of the neighbouring rooms well. A water cooker as shown in the room description did not exist with us. Only a capsule machine was available. This was why we had to prepare the water for our tea and thus tasted the tea for coffee. Also very bad that no sustainability is being considered and actually coffee capsules are still offered. For one night to get to the airport, it's OK. I can't recommend a longer stay.

GGuest UserI recommend people to join miles program once they reach hotel. After registering, they can get free train/bus card for their stay. I feel that staff is good and responding. However, sometimes too much shortage of manning causes some issue of discomfort. Also had one incident where towel were smelly.

GGuest UserRoom was dirty! Toilet was broken. They had a children group in the hotel (but its actually hostel) those kids were drunk, we informed the reception but they didn’t change the room, promised to stop singing (group of kids were singing everywhere, corridors, rooms) all hotel was full with drunk children, we informed reception but reaction was ZERO. Property looks so old, its a real hostel, dirty, housekeepers were speaking to each other so loud they woke us up at 7 am, reception next day even did not apologize, I had a feeling like they are unhappy with their job, they look so sad & indifferent. housekeeping…. Probably they don’t have. Look at the pictures & you will guess. Atmosphere is definitely depressive! Mostly because staff is so unhappy. Oh welcome…. They don’t know what is welcome, they even don’t know why they work there. So my suggestion is DON’T BOOK this hostel!!!!

PPassenger31099636306We spent one night in this comfortable hotel just outside Hannover central station (10mins walk). Being HHonors Gold member, we were provided with a room upgrade to a nice, large and quiet room. The room and bathroom were very clean, but felt a bit dated, so a renovation would be very welcome. We are also not big fans of showers in a bath-tub, so a nice walk-in shower would have been better. Staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was good as well, with a good choice of food and drinks, although it did get very busy after 9:00am. We would consider staying here again when next in Hannover, especially if the hotel is renovated.

Spacious rooms. Cool decoration. Very clean all over and very friendly staff. Parking close by a fine gym and a disco ball in the bathroom. Nice big windows and nice view. The breakfast was one of the best hotel’s breakfast we have had for a long time.

GGuest UserLet’s clean up. Different kind of rooms: full renovated or just old. A lot of rooms are very small, the shower is ridiculously narrow. Parking area is small and slots are tight as well. Internet is ok. Breakfast is great. Waiters are sort of arrogant (just inadeguate) and do not accept critics (I have seen one “fighting” with a guest that was asking maybe not in a polite way (?) for better service). Dinner is also fine but for 4-6 people else the kitchen will not be able to handle the order. Hannover has a big exhibition area: all the city is pricy and this hotel is following the same main steam but without solid reasons. Not suggested.

GGuest UserThere are many comfortable hotels, but here I felt well from the first second. Single rooms are rarely attractive, but in this hotel it is beautiful. Breed bed with extra-long bed cover, refrigerator, coffee corner, many warm light sources, safe. All in covered, calming colours. The bathroom has a large shower with decent water pressure. Rooms are relatively small, but not at all tight. The restaurant offers a small selection of food. Breakfast buffet does not leave any wishes open. All staff are consistently friendly and very attentive. I also liked the situation.

The hotel is on a relatively quiet street but a leisurely 10 minute stroll will have you in the heart of the old town. The hotel is very clean and the complimentary minibar is an added bonus. Would recommend for anyone visiting Hannover!

7780paddingtonI have been staying in this hotel several times earlier this year and was always satisfied. Is a little ”vintage” but there are rooms with balcony for relatively small money. Now in times of the virus (beginning July) the reception was only occupied from 10 to 16:00, you entered the hotel thanks to an extra travelled staff (it was required Call and tell when to get in) through a side entrance (the main entrance was closed with grids) and allowed to carry his bag through a not very nice staircase as the driving chair was disabled. Hotel bar and breakfast room closed. All in all a little unseemable. I hope they will be ”rebelling” again and well through these times, then I would look at it again.

GGuest UserVery well located hotel with free parking right in front of the entrance. Little accessibility considering the 15 stairs at the entrance to the hotel. At the entrance they offer you sweets while you check in. The room is good, comfortable and comfortable, and also with a package of goodies as an arrival gift. The only downside is that it is in front of the train track and you can hear it every few minutes. Earplugs necessary to rest, but comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Good pastries and variety of hot dishes and sausages. I only needed some nuts and a little cheese to spread. At the exit they give you a bottle of mineral water in which they wish you a good trip. Very friendly trea**ent from all the staff. Recommendable. Just remember, front stairs and earplugs.

Hotel service is very warm, lock the door at 10 o'clock in the evening, after 10 o'clock, the tenant will send the key to open the door. Breakfast is simpler, but the basics of a Western breakfast are available.
