Great quiet spot for a stop in Hanmer springs. We had the garden cottages and it was peaceful and secluded. Hot springs, shops, restaurants and coffee all less than 5 mins walk. Also - direct access to walking trails at end of road. Accommodation was great, clean, spacious and well maintained. Fully recommend

This just has to be one of the best places to stay in New Zealand Returned after eight years to the warmest of welcomes and unbounded hospitality. It is so easy to be disappointed returning to a place you have enjoyed so much, we must say it was even better. It has been an absolute joy to stay at Cheltenham House again

We felt spoilt staying here! Only one night, however, we will be back for a longer stay. Adult centric, luxury accommodations, centred around a gorgeous mature garden. Comfy beds and quality linens. Super close to the pool and dinner spots. See you again!

Lovely studio surrounded by honeysuckle and other flowers in a garden. It's within walking distance of the Springs and restaurants. There's a little outdoor table we sat at for wine . Refrigerator and glasses provided and roomy bathroom. Clean, comfortable and perfect for relaxing visit. Owner provided maps and track suggestions.

Lovely unit with bedroom and ensuite in beautiful garden. Walking distance to food, Hot Springs and walk. Very comfortable unit. Had two nights and experienced a big storm the second night which wiped out power. Maree was a lovely, attentive host and helped out with supplying us with hot water when power failed due to storm.
