Hangzhou Xihu District Hotels

We are a family of 3 adults. The room size and beds ( 1 queen & 1 single) were perfect for our needs. It wasn’t a roll away bed, it was a proper single bed for the extra pax. And beddings were comfy and great. Room size was good… spacious enough to still provide a 2-seater sofa, and a single armchair. Coffee making, kettle of good quality. Bathroom shower was good, vanity top very good and even a spacious area for a bath tub. It was cold outside at 2 - 5 degrees, but it was warm and good inside. Breakfast was good and tasty. Coffee was good. We had dinner at their in-house restaurant, and good was great! Front desk staff was warm and very friendly, and provided much assistance to us in hiring taxis, and showing us how to get around. It made our day as getting around was super easy with the directions given by one of the senior female staff ( which unfortunately I did not manage to get her name). She was patient and super helpful. And housekeeping lady was equally warm and friendly. We had a lovely time here. We chose this location because it was only 15 minutes to Xixi Wetlands , which we wanted to visit and attend the night show : Jin Xi Gong Xixi. It was a beautiful performance, not to be missed. But they are closed for winter now. To get to West Lake, there is a Metro 450 m away and will take you pretty fast there.

A huge hotel located in a decent area of Hangzhou. West lake is about a 15/20 minute walk away. Breakfast is very good with plenty of options and a kids play area if traveling with young children. Swimming pool was nice but jacuzzi/children’s pool water was not that warm sadly. Room was very nice and spacious.

The hotel is located very near to a metro station making it convenient to travel within Hangzhou. The hotel is well maintained and clean, facilities within the room are also very new. The staff are friendly and helpful, and helped us to collect our online shopping packages. The room itself is very spacious and comfortable to live in. The only drawback is that there are only some limited dining nearby, and no places near the hotel to buy some groceries. Would also be great if there are washer and dryer in the room itself, as the washing area is quite congested. Overall a very good hotel option for Hangzhou for the price range.

If you stay during the Spring Festival, the four-star hotel is guaranteed. There are many people. The price purchased on Ctrip is also very cost-effective. There are also two breakfasts in the room. There is also a Chinese restaurant on the second floor where you can order by yourself. The hotel environment is very good. The facilities are also very complete. Yogurt was also provided in the room when I checked in, and the service from the room aunt was also very warm and thoughtful. When checking in at night, there is also a turndown service. The customer service at the front desk is also very polite and generous, and the service is warm and thoughtful. They are all eager to solve any problems, which makes me feel very happy. The price is not expensive either. There were some hiccups during check-in but they were resolved very well, which was really considerate. It is worth mentioning the parking service. There is free parking. Easy to get in and out. It is surrounded by scenic spots such as West Lake. The breakfast buffet is also quite rich and has many categories. The bus stop is right outside the door, so traveling is very convenient. I will choose to stay here next time!

The hotel is in an ideal location to get around to sights. The entrance is away from the road which is great for people with kids. The rooms are clean and staff is quite friendly. I was able to get a room early which was awesome ☺️. I would recommend or stay here again.

We loved our stay at Joy Hotel. Although the rooms were very basic, and void of any ambience, it served its purpose. It was spacious and the bathroom was so beautiful!! The bathtub was big enough to accommodate 2 and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff never bothered at odd hours and cleaned our room in the evening to accommodate us and our schedule. Overall, good stay. We stayed during the holidays so the price was higher but the hotels location is quite good and close enough to places of interest.

Hahaha, it’s so worth it. Because I asked to stay on a high floor, I didn’t choose a room with a bathtub. It’s a luxury hotel for business trips, conferences and weddings. Since I stayed at the hotel, if it ranks second in terms of value for money, it won’t be the first. It’s better than hotels in Macau. Even higher, the hotel has marble-decorated floors, bedding covers with more than 100 thread count (this is really an unexpected experience), latex pillows, pure water pipes, smart toilets (this is relatively common), the shower water is smooth, and there is a 24-hour restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel that provides room delivery. The meal service (20 RMB per order) is great value, and the dishes are on the food chain route and are friendly to the people. There is also a buffet restaurant, which can meet basic living needs without leaving the ground floor of the hotel. It is said to be a new hotel model, such a luxury hotel with a low three-digit price , I met you today

Really good review! The guy at the front desk was very considerate. I changed hotel rooms many times, and the front desk was very patient and accompanied me to select a room. The room facilities were very complete, the WIFI was very fast, the shower water was big, and the hot water was very fast. The room is clean and tidy. When I go out, the cleaning lady comes to tidy the room. The speed and efficiency are very good! It will still be my first choice in the future

We went to this hotel for a short holiday and it’s been the most amazing experience! When we got there the staff attended us in perfect fluent English! We got an upgrade to a better room due to the construction site nearby but honestly the noise wasn’t even noticeable. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in a long time huge variety of stuff western food, fresh juices, cereals, english breakfast, all kinds of dumplings… The leisure area is beautiful we played tennis and the coach was genuinely kind and we are still in touch with him, became our friend! Hahaha really nice sauna, steam room, awesome swimming pool, quiet gym… really really nice. And it’s got a Starbucks inside of the hotel… + great attraction the surrounding area. I absolutely recommend this place for foreigners and locals.

Dear Trip Manager , Make sure hotel’s top management reads this message . I had checked out around 1.50 pm on 1st then gone to watch hockey match and after match directly drove to Shanghai. After Shanghai around 8.45 pm released I left my & families passport in locker of the wardrobe , locker was left open therefore no password required to open . I immediately called hotel’s front desk first spoke to lady she told exact locatio n of three passports. I waited for 20 minutes then called again this fine spoke to another person “ Wu” , he was more responsive and told he will check and assured to call back but he didn’t call back . I called after about 20 minutes he told he found a gold chain . This my gold chain I asked him again did he find passport he told “ no , think else was found “. Actually he didn’t send anybody to room to check . He lied ! . I told him to check again as I told him exact place of my passport. He said he will get it checked . I waited again for about 20 minutes again and called again spoke to him this time he told that another guest has checked in and therefore they cannot as guest is not in room . He told me to wait until guest comes back . Hotel’s housekeeping staff had found my chain in afternoon while cleaning and gave it front desk . Actually hotel should have called me on mobile immediately but wondering why this such kind of negligence . Absolutely disappointed. We kept on calling a few time until 1.15 am , my wife called atleast 10-15 times . Front desk staff kept on saying cannot enter room as guest hasn’t comeback . Meanwhile I had contacted via your app to three agents they said they will come back in one hour but nobody did …..!!! I had called around 1.15 am to hotel and told them I have no option to call police . Then Wu told he wait for 10 minutes , he called back and told to call police . I called 110 gave full information to police and with 10 minutes local police station called back to verify and after about 10-15 minutes I called Police again they said front desk has found my passports . If front desk had not authority to enter thek should have given option to call police and then they could enter room to search . Untrained unprofessional staff made me suffer for 4 & half ours . I will tell this story to all and will tell to all to never stay in this hotel ever …. Thanks
