The hotel service exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed with a beautiful surprise birthday cake in our room after a tiring day outdoors. Their kind gesture really touched our hearts deeply as there was also a handwritten note by their staff who wrote very warm wishes and sweet words to us. Our room was cleaned everyday and the fridge refilled with drinks for us daily by the nice housekeepers. The restaurant and front desk and lobby staff were very helpful and friendly as well. Love the location lots as it is at the foot of a serene hill and away from the main road yet within walking distance to the lake. The room amenities provided were definitely of good quality. We stayed on the 2nd floor and sometimes there would be people walking outdoors but the noise and lack of privacy was easily overcome by closing our windows and curtains. The restaurant has limited space but we enjoyed sharing a table and chatting with other guests during breakfast. There were many convenience stores along the main road too.
The only downside staying here was that most taxi or car hire drivers wanted to drop us off outside Qixialing Road which is very narrow so we had to keep assuring the drivers that there was ample space to turn their vehicles around at the hotel entrance

We had a blast in our Chengdu hotel, so we booked the same brand for our Hangzhou hotel, and it was the best decision we ever made.
Location was near west lake su causeway entrance. We got bikes and just biked around the west lake.
Laundry room was free and big. Breakfast was simple but delicious. There is free snack in the room, free drinks as well. Congee and egg as midnight snacks too! We felt right at home here.
I forgot to mention, they have gym and playroom as well.

The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The rooms are beautiful and have quite high-tech solutions (don't rip the curtains, there is a button for it :), also there are pre-programmed light themes that can be used, the rest you need to go and check for yourself ;).)
The location is both good and bad - good if you want to be close to the West Lake... and Starbucks :D. Bad if you want to drive to the front door of the hotel or order a taxi using an app, because it is located in a small street where the locals park their cars. So, only one car can almost fit through it and it will take some serious wheelwork to turn around at the end. I was not able to order taxi to the hotel using an app because the app showed that this zone is a no-go area. If you want to take a metro, it is quite close, but be prepared to climb the hill of over 320m to access it (this means up and down the hill through the park to the metro station). The bus stop is very close though.
Overall, the hotel is amazing and very nice. I would still recommend it unless you need to have a very quick access to the downtown.

Greet location for exploring the West Lake.
If you're planning to explore the West Lake by foot or by bike this is a great base. You can walk to the lake in less than 5 minutes, near one of the best sections.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. They helped us order delivery food one night which was then delivered to our room by robot.
The room was relatively compact but was clean with everything we might want. It had an art deco style theme that was pleasant. Shower was spacious, with hot powerful water.
Porridge and eggs are made available by the hotel each evening for free which is a nice touch though we didn't make use of them. We did make use of the self-service laundry room which we did find convenient, though we did have to wait for dryers to become free as the laundry room seemed quite popular whilst we were there.
Breakfast was OK, good but not great. Options were relatively limited and nothing stood out. Breakfast was also very busy, the breakfast room seemed too small for the number of guests and it was all a bit chaotic and trying to get space was difficult. The toaster machine also made a very unpleasant high pitched noise. It was not a relaxing breakfast experience.
So improvement could be made for breakfast but otherwise a good stay with a great location.

Hotel is amazing. I checked in with kids and elderly people. Everyone loved the stay. Although our stay is only for one night and a day, we are all very much satisfied with the hotel. Hotel staff is courteous and ready to help.
