I like it very much. It's an old house. The details are well built. The decoration, bedding and supplies are very nice. The housekeeper is very gentle and considerate. She turned on the electric heater when we were having dinner in the restaurant at night. She was afraid that we would be cold. She didn't disturb us at other times. It is very suitable for quiet people. 😊Beishan Street is just outside the hotel gate, facing Baidi Bridge. The location is excellent.

The overall environment of the room is very good. It is a single-family house. It feels very comfortable to live in a home. The best thing is the location. It is right on Beishan Street. There are museums nearby and many listed delicacies. You can see the West Lake and the Broken Bridge when you go out. There are also many Internet celebrities taking photos in the yard. The housekeeper is also very nice and helps to arrange it properly. The only drawback is the noise. Because the old-style building has poor sound insulation, it makes a lot of noise when going up and down the stairs. I originally wanted to take a break on the weekend, but I happened to live on the second floor. There was a banquet on the first floor at night. The guests' clinking of glasses made us who were talking in the room unable to hear each other's voices. It ended at almost 9 o'clock in the evening. On the third floor, I ran back and forth and waited for them to sleep. I finally fell asleep upstairs. There was construction near the building. I thought the workers stopped at 2 o'clock, but the big bulldozer was still working at 3 o'clock in the morning. I really couldn't figure it out. Lying in bed, my mind was full of Chinese speed. The location of the hotel is super good, beside the West Lake and opposite the Broken Bridge. There are four rooms in total, and three of them were booked, which is basically a private room. There is a lot of space for activities. It feels really good to enjoy the small villa beside the West Lake. The restaurant also has a full set of equipment, which is good haha. The house in the Republic of China period is also well decorated, and the hardware conditions are also good, Dyson hair dryer, Hermes toiletries, etc. However, it may be because of the old house. The water system is average and the hot water is unstable. If the water is used on the first floor, it is not recommended to use the water on the second floor at the same time, otherwise the water is very small. The floor drain in the bathroom was not cleaned in time, and the drainage was a bit blocked. Breakfast is also a simple set meal. During the day, some tourists will come in to take pictures in the garden, but they can't enter the hall, so privacy is still guaranteed. But overall I am very satisfied, mainly because of this environment. If I come to Hangzhou next time, I am still willing to continue to live here.

Stepping into the old bungalow in Hu Weihan, I was immediately attracted by its unique atmosphere. This hotel is located on Beishan Street by the West Lake in Hangzhou. The surrounding environment is quiet and beautiful, and it is only a few minutes' walk from famous attractions such as the Broken Bridge. This gave me the opportunity to visit the West Lake conveniently and quickly. The hotel's limited number of guest rooms is very unique, with only four open to the public. This small-scale setting provided me with a different kind of stay experience. I felt very spacious and comfortable and the room was furnished and decorated with great taste and elegance. It is worth mentioning that the hotel displays some works by artists Wu Guanzhong and Lin Fengmian in the room. Although I'm not sure if these pieces are original, they fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the mansion and left me impressed with the care put into the hotel. The hotel's breakfast is very authentic and in line with the preferences of Hangzhou people. This localized breakfast allows guests to enjoy an authentic dining experience and is closer to the local food culture. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at the Lakeside No. 43 Weihan Old Bungalow Hotel. I was impressed by the great location, the unique limited number of rooms, the historic architecture, the thoughtfully placed art and the authentic breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any traveler looking for a unique and comfortable stay.
