The location is perfect if you want to be close to tea plantations and similar attractions. It’s very convenient to reach the Longjing section of the China Tea Museum and the village, either by bus or on foot (though walking requires some stamina). Manjuelong is famous for its osmanthus trees, which bloom in autumn, but the area still has a unique charm in spring. Hupao Spring, where you can get water for your tea, is also within walking distance or a short bus ride away.
The service was excellent and went above and beyond. As soon as the staff found out this foreigner likes tea, they kindly invited me to enjoy tea together—even though my Chinese is very limited. It was Qingming Jie and they welcomed me with a delicious and fresh qingtuan.
The room was exactly as shown in the pictures: clean, cozy, and pretty. The toilet and shower were excellent.
Breakfast was also very good—filling and just right to start a day of exploring the tea hills.
