We loved JieLu Hotel! And the whole area with it's beautiful and vast tea plantations. Longjing tea grows in the area and Longjing Village is in walking distance (about 2 km) from the hotel.
Once arrived at the spot, you'll need to climb up a few stairs to reach the horel, but you have a grand view from the hotel terrace. There's also a pool right beside the terrace - a good spot, especially for kids, to dip into the water and enjoy a nice view at the same time.
The hotel is very airy, lots of windows, lots of light, very clean. There's a Café in the entrance/lobby area, a little place for kids to play, a restaurant part, where you can also choose to sit outside, and where breakfast is served in the morning - you can choose either Western or Chinese style. We tried both and found both delicious and nutritious! Btw, the coffee they serve is excellent! And the service generally very kind!
The room is simple, but practical and clean. Bed is very comfy, mattress not too soft, so we had a very good night of sleep.
It's possible to park the car along the street (it's a bit hilly though and you might and up hunting for a spot if you are not as lucky as we were), and when we left, the staff gave us a voucher, so we ended up not paying additionally for the parking.
Another very service-oriented goodie: Trip.com called me before we set off for JieLu Hotel and connected me with the staff via WeChat. It was very useful for all kinds of info - address, To-Dos upon arrival (PCR test), Infos concerning wifi, breakfast time, ...
