The hotel is right by West Lake, boasting an excellent location that's both central and peaceful. The environment is incredibly elegant. They even upgraded us to a villa room, and the service was superb. The meals were also very rich and delicious. Highly recommend!

The hotel's facilities are a bit old, but the service is excellent. The environment is elegant, and it's within walking distance to Flower Harbor Viewing Fish (Huagang Guanyu) and Bathing Egret Bay (Yuhubwan). The complimentary travel photoshoot was a pleasant surprise! The room's soft furnishings could use a slight upgrade.

Seriously, the hotel room had bugs, and the cleaning lady said it was normal because of the humid weather. That's just ridiculous. The pool wasn't open in the morning, and in the afternoon, the lifeguard seemed more interested in flirting than actually working, constantly giving out warnings ⚠️. I definitely don't recommend this place; it's just a hassle.

First off, the hotel environment is very elegant, with lush greenery and beautiful garden surroundings. Secondly, a big thank you to Front Desk Agent Xiao Wang for being so warm and patient, accompanying us to our room. The gentleman directing parking at the entrance, the bellhop who helped with luggage, and the staff member from Nepal were all excellent. Lastly, the hotel breakfast was quite good; while it didn't have as many options as a star-rated hotel, it was greatly enhanced by the view outside the glass window, and the noodle chef and other servers were all very enthusiastic. Overall, the hotel is worth a stay. Originally, we booked a two-night package that included a complimentary dinner. However, due to an unforeseen circumstance, we had to cancel one night, which also resulted in the dinner being canceled. The check-in staff didn't proactively inform us, and we honestly didn't think to ask, only realizing the dinner was gone when we went to eat. It was already past 7 PM, and the hotel is quite remote with limited delivery options, which put us in a difficult spot. If the front desk had been a bit more flexible, especially seeing that we had a child, and proactively discussed a solution for dinner, it would have shown more humanistic care, similar to what you'd find at Atour or Marriott. Of course, this is nitpicking because we genuinely liked the hotel and hope it can be even better!

Unable to bear the scorching summer heat, all I wanted was a quiet place to escape the summer and relax. After much deliberation, I finally booked a three-day, two-night stay at Yaguquan Villa. The villa is nestled on Huajia Mountain, surrounded by lush greenery and a tranquil environment. Both breakfast and dinner at the Qinghua restaurant were delightful; I recommend grabbing a window seat to enjoy both the food and the greenery. The pool temperature was a bit on the colder side, but thankfully it wasn't crowded and the water quality was excellent. The villa is also relatively close to Yuhugu Bay and Maojiabu, with Yuhugu Bay being a 30-minute walk away. In summer, the water level at the pebble beach becomes shallow, making it a bit challenging to catch small fish, shrimp, and crabs, but after moving around a bit, we eventually caught some, and the kids were happy. 😄 After checking out, we forgot a swimming ring, and the hotel called to remind us and even sent it via express delivery, which we received first thing the next morning – excellent service! 👍👍👍 If you're planning a travel photoshoot, I recommend booking early, as our later booking time meant less ideal slots, so we ended up missing out, which was a small regret.

The hotel was very quiet, and the staff were warm and attentive. My child loved it! The garden landscaping is also beautiful, with a stunning view right in front of the lobby. Due to time constraints, we didn't get to explore other areas thoroughly. We'll definitely come back next time!

Pros: The hotel's overall environment is lovely, nestled within a mountain resort. The service was also quite good. Cons: The lobby is on the second floor, while the restaurant, swimming pool, and gym are on the first. The rooms are a bit far from all these amenities, requiring a long walk. The room decor is a bit dated. The breakfast buffet selection wasn't extensive, just average. Overall, not great value for money.

The environment here is fantastic, perfect for family vacations or business leisure. The service is excellent, and they even offer professional travel photography sessions. The makeup artist and photographer were meticulous, and the photos turned out beautifully.
