Courtyard by Marriott Hangzhou West

The hotel's front desk service was excellent. As a family, they helped us coordinate rooms on the same floor. The hotel is also very close to the north gate of Xixi Wetland, making it a great choice for weekend trips.

I don't know where to begin with this review of the Courtyard by Marriott; it's a mixed bag. First, there's a review mentioning a swimming pool. I asked the front desk at check-in and was told there wasn't one, so those who want to swim don't need to bring swimsuits. In the middle of the night, the smell of toilet fumes kept me awake. I barely managed to fall asleep after closing the toilet lid and the bathroom door. The next day, after breakfast, I returned to my second-floor room. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I could smell the same stench permeating the entire second floor. It was truly worse than even a regular hotel. The evening meal consisted of eight small dishes, as shown in the first picture below, along with a homemade salad, some fruit, and a drink. It was a simple meal, and since it was complimentary, I won't comment on it in detail. Pictures 2 and 3 show part of the breakfast. The upside is that it's very close to Fudi. A shared bike ride takes about 700 meters, making it a great place for an evening stroll.
