Hotel room not too bad, had a problem with the TV but phoned and it got fixed quickly. Bed is comfortable. Shower is warm and powerful. Not much noise outside from other hotel guests. View outside is a city view so looked out onto Hangzhou Tower. Top floor has view of West Lake which is nice.
A little disappointed to find Thai restaurant (Sawasdee) in the hotel serving Chinese food when we were really looking for a range of Thai food, so went to the buffet instead which was nice and had a good range of food, drink and desserts for dinner.
Flight out was at 630am, so happy that the hotel arranged a very early wake up call, quick check out and a taxi arranged for 4am.
Quite satisfied with the service.

I’m gonna go ahead and say this is my favorite hotel in HZ and I lived there for 4 years! Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing room, gym and pool! Please give my regards to the super helpful blonde Turkish lady who works at the front desk. She helped me set up WiFi on my phone and helped me store my road bike in concierge! Thank you!!!

Greeted very well with the business reception manager, 张娟 for arranging our tour and 张向军, the cafe manager for the pleasant service while having breakfast. Wulin market is just a stone away from hotel. Wuxi lake is also nearby. Very convenient.

Lovely hotel in a great location by West Lake, and near great restaurants and shopping centre, also night markets. Room was huge and well appointed. I would stay here again.

I’ve stayed at other hotels in the same chain, but this one felt a bit outdated. As a solo traveler, I was moved to a queen-bed room, but I noticed some issues. The carpet edges were fraying, and the electrical outlets seemed like they belonged to another time. The shower cubicle was positioned right next to a glass wall, which caused a cold draft to come in.
Overall, I won’t be returning to this hotel and wouldn’t recommend it to others. However, I’d still consider staying at their other properties or the franchise in Guangzhou.

Check in to the hotel was smooth but once I arrived in the room I saw a big spider 🕷️ in the bath tub which made me feel very uncomfortable,Hygiene is the most important part for the hotels, I believe pest control has to be done regularly . Secondly I was called and told to come down in the late night to give back the glasses which I borrowed from the lobby lounge, which was horrible, Chef Derek and Effie from FO, was very proactive, they are doing a great job 👏

Great overnight stay. Check-in was quick and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. English was spoken and I was impressed by their whole approach. The room was beautiful with a small balcony - it was quite big too. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices. Again, the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that Trip took the room payment but I then had to pay again at the hotel- apparently Trip just hold the payment until you check out. I was refunded the money but I was unaware this would happen. I’ll def stay in this hotel again.

My family enjoyed our stay in Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou. The rooms were clean. The staff including receptionists and cleaners were courteous and helpful. We also paid for the hotel buffet which has a wide selection on food. The hotel is also next to the Wulin night market. It is also within walking distance to the West Lake which is a popular tourist attraction. Highly recommended.
