Perfect location and hotel, the only two issues: 1) the personnel do not speak English; 2) the breakfast is served in another hotel.

The hotel location is pretty convenient; just by the West Lake and within walking distance from many places of interest. It’s also cozy as it feels more like a private small property than a hotel in standard terms (it only has few rooms and the staff will close service after 10-11 pm).
However there were 2 big downsides to my stay at this hotel. First, even though cleanness level was somewhat acceptable, one might encounter some unpleasant surprises ( like a cockroach in closet :D ). The second downside was the breakfast location, it was at a different hotel named Da Hua some 500 meters away, and it didn’t have much international options (if you are ok with the morning walk you might actually enjoy this or end up having your morning coffee at a nearby Starbucks midway).
