I wanted to return to Shanghai a day earlier to avoid the peak hours, but I was wrong. I sat on the Luback next to me for an afternoon and checked Gaode. The traffic was getting more and more congested. I suddenly had an idea and found a hourly room to lie down for 4 hours and go back later.
The front desk guy Baitu was very enthusiastic and helped with the self-service check-in. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was free.

When ordering from Trip, I had chosen a non-smoking room. When I checked in, the front desk suggested that I upgrade to a room with a window and two days of breakfast. I agreed to pay more for the upgrade.
When I checked in, I took the elevator to the fifth floor and heard a loud alarm. I confirmed with the hotel staff that it was not a fire alarm, but that a tenant was secretly smoking and triggered the alarm.
When entering the room, there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The smell continued to smell when I went to bed at night, and I couldn't sleep well all night.
It is recommended that hotel staff show their management courage and severely punish guests who still smoke selfishly and indiscriminately on non-smoking floors to protect the rights of non-smoking guests.
