The location is great, the house is well-designed, the bathrooms are all brand-name, and the girl at the front desk was enthusiastic and hardworking. However, the B&B, which showed it had only been open for a year, was poorly maintained. There was a strange smell as soon as we entered the room. The girl said it smelled like mosquito repellent. After opening the door to air it out, we went out to eat and came back to find it was a musty smell. It wouldn't go away. We wanted to change hotels, but since we were already there, we felt embarrassed, so we changed our two-night reservation to one. The musty smell kept our whole family awake that night. The electric curtains wouldn't close properly, so we had to use a stool to hold them up. The dim lighting couldn't hide the various grime stains on the floor. When I turned on the light at night, I found spider webs by the bedside. The stairs hadn't been swept clean of dead bugs all day and all night. The children's tent area looked relatively clean, though. Furthermore, this mountain B&B doesn't have a restaurant that offers simple meals. You have to walk five minutes to a nearby farmhouse for meals. The breakfast the next day was even more disappointing. There were only pictures of it. There was no polish at all. The auntie downstairs was resting, and no one else was downstairs. Porridge was all you could eat. 😓 The room rate of over 1,700 yuan was really not worth it. We also booked this place because it was convenient for the kids to play in the water. It's convenient for changing clothes. However, since it hasn't rained in the past few days, the stream behind the house has dried up and turned into a gravel path. You still have to walk 5-10 minutes to go somewhere else to play in the water.
