Youyoujia Meisu (Xixi Tianjie Branch)

The room we stayed in was generally clean and tidy, with all the basic amenities, meeting expectations for this price range. The room rate is relatively affordable in Hangzhou, and worth considering for one or two people. However! Hangzhou's midsummer weather is truly unbearable. The heat and sweltering heat make stepping outside feel like stepping into a steamer. After just half an hour strolling around West Lake, I was already sweating profusely, my clothes soaking wet, and I just wanted to retreat to my air-conditioned room. Even worse, the mosquitoes were incredibly rampant near the lake. If I wasn't careful, I'd end up with dozens of large, red, itchy bites on my arms and legs. The unbearable itching completely ruined my enjoyment of the trip. The weather and the mosquitoes were a major downgrade, a truly laughable experience.

The location of this homestay is superb. Longhu Paradise Walk is right downstairs, making it very convenient for dining and ordering takeout! The ambiance is also good, but the facilities are quite average. The disposable slippers are as thin as paper, and the drain in the first-floor bathroom was clogged the next day. I also chose this place because of the projector and mahjong machine, but the projector was small and difficult to adjust. The mahjong machine also had a smell, the tiles were missing patterns, and there were no adjustable modes.
