Let’s start off with some pros:
1. Hotel was situated in a good and convenient location. Wasn’t too far of a walk to bus stations to get you to the West Lake.
2. Staff were overall nice and helpful
3. Hotel was quite advanced. Had Do Not Distrub lights instead of signs. Had robots to deliver amenities to you if needed. You need to tap your card on the elevator to take you up to your floor.
Now for the cons (please read!)
1. The walls are paper thin, sound proofing is practically non-existent. One night, a couple was talking very loud and having sex, and we heard everything. Then every morning the cleaning ladies would start their work at 7:30 and you will be woken up. And I don’t even think they are aware that they were disrupting others. So if you do decide to stay, then I recommend you being ear plugs, or hopefully you will have quieter neighbors.
2. Every day I would press the “do not disturb” button and even ask the cleaning ladies for towels and water bottles, but they still came into the room. Didn’t clean anything or make up the room, but did change the garbage. So if you stay at this hotel, please still lock up your belongings because they will be coming into your room whether you like it or not
