Hangzhou Shangcheng District 5-star Hotels

This hotel was recommended by a friend and it really did not disappoint us! Love this hotel! U will be greeted by friendly staff and nice fragrance in the hotel lobby. There is also robot service but we did not get to use it. The hotel even provided a full set of Dyson hair dryer which helped styled my hair everyday! We had a bit of problem connecting the wifi in the room and they immediately sent help our way! They used their personal number to register and patiently helped connect for all our devices. Then again, this is something they should really look into for their non-Chinese citizen guests who does not have china number to register, it's such a hassle and time consuming to connect. 24hour marts are right across the street and there are a few small eateries behind the hotel. No complaints. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice 4 day stay at this hotel, where the floor staff, Zheng Jing郑静，and Ye Guangzhu叶光珠, provided consistently attentive service. Whenever we requested additional water bottles or fresh towels, they were delivered to my room almost immediately. The hotel is one of the most well known 5 Star hotels in Hangzhou, though older, offers a modern and stylish ambiance. The food delivery robots always delighted the children. This hotel is extraordinary in terms of cost effectiveness. The location is also excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Hangzhou, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The scenery surrounding the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views that made every moment spent there feel special. The room itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The attention to detail was impressive, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a fantastic experience, and I would definitely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou!

The hotel environment is very good, the room is large and well-equipped. There are many supporting facilities around. There are many breakfast options and the taste is very good. It is very suitable for families/friends to travel to Hangzhou. The service is very considerate, especially when checking in at the front desk, the staff introduced clearly, especially the staff Andy was proactive and enthusiastic, very satisfied! Will choose to stay again.

The hotel was nice and quiet away from the crowded area. There’s a great coffee nearby- let’s roll coffee but there is limited eatery around the area and it’s quiet at night. The breakfast and cocktails package was worthy and the hotel design and vibes were great, will visit again when I’m back in Hangzhou 🙂

I came to the concert and booked with Ctrip. The front desk lady was very nice. I upgraded the room for free and also gave a breakfast. The room was really big. I opened the window and saw the high-speed train coming in and out of the station. But it was not noisy at all when the window was closed. This was very friendly to me who has a light sleep. However, the hygiene really needs to be improved. When I was eating at the round table, I looked down and saw a torn package of a family planning brand under the bed. The staff came and kept apologizing. The service was still very good. I will choose to stay here next time.

Nice 5-star hotel with really good price. However, it’s not that close to metro station. Bus stop is just outside, can go most of attractions. Highly recommend to stay here.

A lovely hotel near the Hangzhou Westlake.. My room on the sixth floor was very good and met my expectations. Breakfast was also a good experience and made all the more by Rajeev and Maria who provided excellent service. Room service is also very good and the staff do a great job. There is a rooftop garden that is worth a visit and in the evening it offers nice views of the surrounding area and Westlake. Happy to visit again.

The hotel gives a grand vibe, beautiful, clean, luxury interior. The hotel smells so good, the moment we step into the lobby, it gives such a nice feeling. The room & toilet are spotless clean & very spacious. We really love the smart toilet. Our room view is very beautiful facing the river especially at night with lights on. The buffet breakfast selection is very great & very good quality. The location is good, just next to the Qiantang river. We enjoy our bike riding & scrolling at night with great view. The hotel staffs are friendly & helpful. A compliment to staffs Matt Ma, Max Ji , Nick, Anderson for their service. Also my wife would like to give a special honorable mention to these staffs for being helpful & their exceptional service: Edward Lu & Molly Gao (receptionist staffs), Doreen Ji (housekeeping staff) Overall is super satisfied! So glad that we chose this hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much during our 1st visit in Hangzhou. We really recommend it to our family & friends! This will definitely be our main choice to stay when we visit Hangzhou again.
