Have a very nice experience staying in Sofitel. Though the hotel is a bit dated, the location is good and room was spacious and clean. What makes a difference is the service. The staffs were friendly and helpful, especially Mr Liu from concierge service.

Location was good, right by metro station and shopping mall with multiple dining options (fancy restaurants). Just few minutes walk to the lake. Very nice lounge with live music. Service was top notch, the staff was amazing, bilingual and very attentive to our needs. No lake view and facilities were a bit dated.

This is my second stay at the hotel. The service is really great. The front desk service is very proactive and Xiao Gan is great. The room has a high floor and complete facilities. You can see the river view from the room. The room is clean and tidy. Very good. I am very satisfied with my overall stay. Breakfast is on the 40th floor. There are many varieties. It combines Chinese and Western styles. The hotel provides free parking. It is really good. I will come to this hotel again next time and look forward to my next stay~

This is the second time I decided to stay at Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou Westlake. The location is amazing, and so is the tour. I decided to buy a half-day tour (4 hours). The price is reasonable, and the driver is amazing. He took us to visit the top tourist destinations and also took us to a good restaurant that was delicious and not expensive at all. There was a staff member at the front desk named Sam. He is amazing. Throughout our 3 days and 2 nights stay, he helped us a lot and also guided us on our visits. While staying at the hotel, he was one of the staff members who could speak English. I would say that I received excellent service from him, and all of my friends loved him very much. You have such a great asset in him.

We checked in late and was very pleased with the service we have received from 雷芸. She was very detailed and patient, despite it being so late she served us with a bright smile and energy. She accommodated to the room request that I have mentioned in my booking and even helped me with my luggage to the room. Since it was late, we wanted order food delivery and she assisted us with the delivery app. The following morning, we had macbreakfast across the street and the cleaning auntie managed to tidy our room within that short span of time. Staff was very detailed to realised that we drink lots of water, so she alrdy provided us more without us requesting! The 2nd night 雷芸 and her colleague 小龙 was very patient to help us with our laundry arrangements (separate wash) & pick up. Then we recalled abt free afternoon tea that came along with our booking so we went back to the front desk to make reservation. 雷芸 & 小龙 assisted us really promptly and even advice the best timing for the afternoon. Would like to thank 雷芸 & 小龙 for such an enjoyable stay, they truly deserve a raise for such passion with their job! Overall, my stay hasn’t ended but it was such a pleasant experience that I had to share and recommend this hotel! Will definitely return again in future!

Good hotel in the newly developed area of Hangzhou! The design of the hotel is pretty cool although the rooms might be a bit old school. Everything is clean and room is large and nice. Good gym with large variety of equipments and weights.

It was a really hard-to-describe experience. The room was over 1,700 per night, which was in line with the price of a five-star hotel. The room was big, the swimming pool was nice, but the service was not up to par. It was very big inside, and we had to rely on electric cars to travel, but there were not enough electric cars. We had to wait endlessly, and no one cared. We had to fight for the car when it came, and we might not be able to sit in it even if we called it. We complained at the time, and the customer manager sent lunch and tour tickets as an apology. The next day, it was still difficult to call an electric car, and it was okay to queue for breakfast. Many hotels had queues, but the staff inexplicably suggested that those who were willing to sit outdoors could go first, and let many people cut in line, and then they went to sit in normal seats openly and no one cared. Most of the service staff were not very professional, and they were kind of simple and self-centered to you. In short, it was not like a hotel, but like a farmhouse...

For a relaxed Family vacation with a nice outdoor swimming pool this Hotel is perfect. The room was huge, very spacious, made for kids to enjoy. Friendly personal, great service, all in all a very nice Hotel to stay at, if you do not intend to leave the Hotel to discover the City Hangzhou.
