Taha Tai

The room is large, air-conditioned, the room does not provide a kettle and refrigerator, and is shared in the front desk lobby. There is wifi and the speed is OK. Hotel location is good, it is convenient to go anywhere, there are many restaurants nearby, and it is very pleasant to hang out on the beach. Breakfast is provided, food is OK, coffee is average. It is very convenient to book the Moai itinerary at the front desk when you check in.
Cabañas Te Maori

My wife and I stayed in Cabanas Te Maori for 6 nights. It was excellent from the beginning. Patricia, the owner, warmly welcomed us with flower necklaces at the airport. On the way driving to cabana, she showed us all important places in town. To our relief, her English was really good!! Location of the cabana was perfect. We didn’t rent the car so it was very convenient to be in short walking distance from shops, restaurants and the beach. Patricia was amazing, making sure that we had everything we needed. She arranged tours and taxi to the beach that was too far to walk. The cabana has a balcony overlooking banana and avocado trees so it was nice to enjoy coffee in the morning. If we go back to Easter Island, we would definitely stay there again!

I didn't stay at this property but came here for a massage so the review is solely on the spa service and as a non-staying guest. I called to enquire and it was difficult to communicate with the spa staff over the phone as she does not speak much English and I speak no Espanol but somehow managed to make a booking. They seem quite busy and I couldn't get a longer massage so best to book a day early. I went for a 50-minute deep tissue massage which was 60,000 pesos (about USD72). The spa room is nice and spacious, very clean and also ensuite so comes with a shower. The masseur is top notch, she found my tired knots and sore areas and worked on them with enough strength. The massage was outstanding and worth every penny, felt very relaxed afterwards. Separately, I wanted to asked at the reception whether I can have dinner there, the reception staff looked bewildered and kept shaking his head, it's fine if the restaurant is not opened to outsiders, he could just explain, there's no need for such a reaction.
Hotel Ohana

It is a newly opened hotel, so there are not many comments, and it is still awkward before going. But I added WhatsApp to the hotel butler Pablo in the early stage, and a bunch of problems were sent to the butler, and they could help us solve them in time. The car rental and day tour guides on the island are all arranged by the hotel. The pick-up has a special welcome wreath on Easter Island, and the departure also surprised to receive the pendant. The staff are very good. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the center of Zhaozhen Town, but because we rent a car, it is actually fine. The room conditions are not bad on the island. Tropical gardens and swimming pools. I like to sit on the balcony of the room and let go.

I was not very lucky on Easter Island, all venues were closed due to local rebellion. The owner was particularly considerate and enthusiastically came to the airport to pick me up and escort me out. It was a clean and attractive hotel.

The location is great for strolling around Hanga Roa. Museum, Tahai, restaurants, shopping, ATMs all within walking distance. The rooms are clean & comfortable. But i couldnt understand the total lack of ventilation. No windows in the room. French windows that you cant really keep open. A fan that barely moves - whether its on 1 or 5. The breakfast was good & the breakfast terrace lovely. ( the only spot you can get a peek at the sea). But no other meals are served. There is a counter where you can get soft drinks etc. If you are not hankering after a ” sea view' from your room, this place..is a good choice.
