Aside from the miscommunication at the start, (due to the wonky connection at Rapa Nui), everything went well. Patricia was full of smiles and energy, and provided some rly great recommendations. The B&b was situated at a great location, along the main street and just a stone’s throw away to the beach. Communication is best done via WhatsApp instead of emails / calls.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at the cabanas on Easter Island! The host, Patricia, exuded warmth and hospitality and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of exceptional. She picked me up and dropped me off at the airport, as well as providing excellent recommendations for dining places and activities.
The accommodation itself was superb. The beds were comfortable and the small kitchenette was great for making a cuppa to kick-start my day on the island. The location is fantastic too, as it's right in the centre of the main street, just a 5 minute walk to where all the food are and the ocean. Definitely would stay again!

The location is excellent, centrally located within a 100-meter walk of the main street, the tourist information center, and the beach. The owner also provided free airport transfers. Highly recommended! Easter Island is worth a few days. I didn't get to snorkel, but I did see giant turtles on the beach. The docile dogs were there for a relaxing dinner in the sunset. I highly recommend watching the Aboriginal dance performance in the evening; it was truly immersive.

I didn’t book a Discovery Hotel, so I read Xiaohongshu and chose this one. It's really a hut, a 2-story building, cut into three lofts of about 25 square meters. There is a bathroom and kitchen on the first floor, and a bedroom and balcony on the second floor. The facilities are quite shabby, sorry for the price of more than 1,000. The location is very good, on the main street, but the landlord didn't contact me. I walked 20 minutes from the airport to get there (it is estimated that half of the hotels are very close to the airport and can be walked). The B&B is also very close to the sea, which is 200 meters away. It is also walking distance from Tahai (also known as the Eyed Moai), the place where you can watch the sunset. Also within about 20-25 minutes. There are many restaurants, supermarkets (supermarkets sell instant noodles, etc.), pharmacies, travel agencies, car rental agencies, etc. nearby. This location is very convenient for shopping and life. The landlord is enthusiastic. There is an airport drop-off service. Anyway, it was just a 2-night stay. I was very concerned about the fact that the bedding was not clean because it was not changed. I only changed it 2 times and the towels were very old.

I had such a wonderful stay here! The owner is truly so kind and welcoming, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Rapa Nui. The rooms were well equipped and the AC was very helpful as the island is very hot. The beds are comfortable and I especially appreciated the upstairs balcony.

This is amazing! Patricia is so caring and genuine in taking care of me traveling solo. From the airport pickup to drop off, Patricia was on top of it…great pre-travel communication. The Cabana is wonderful, perfectly located and just off the main streets. Comfy and everything was thought of for the best stay!
