Some time ago (February 12, 2025), I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Handan Congtai, and the experience was somewhat disappointing. Arriving at the hotel was a headache. The parking lot is public, and there are no security guards or doormen around to guide. I went around many times and waited for a long time before I found a parking space. After getting off the car, my family went to the lobby to find a luggage cart and someone to help move the luggage. Although there was a luggage cart, the hotel service staff didn't care about moving the luggage, so I had to do it myself. The first impression was not very good. The hotel facilities are old, and the bath towels are dark and old. There is not even basic drip coffee in the room, and I still asked the front desk for it. This kind of standard small item should be equipped proactively. The breakfast on the second day was full of complaints. The price of 88 yuan per person was seriously inconsistent with the quality. The bread slices and cakes are all pre-made, full of strong seasonings, full of Beijing flavor but not authentic. There is no freshly ground coffee for breakfast, and the variety is not rich, which is far from the publicity. The check-out experience was also very bad. I called for a luggage cart, but the front desk asked me to get it. There was no service at all. Another detail was that the front desk kept asking for good reviews on WeChat. This behavior really ruined the good impression. Good reviews should come from the heart, not from asking for them. But I will still give them good reviews because I sincerely hope they can do better and better. I also hope that the hotel management will be touched by this review and actively improve to bring more travelers a high-quality stay experience. In addition, after reporting the problem to Ctrip, Ctrip quickly handled it and gave me a satisfactory answer. I must give Ctrip a thumbs up and will book hotels on Ctrip in the future.
