I am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki.
The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well.
If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.

It's expensive for a reason, it's very Japanese, the service, hot springs and facilities are all very good, the Five Diamonds hotel is very trustworthy.

Very disappointed, Ctrip's ranking of Asia's 100 hot springs is far below the standard, the hotel dinner is very rare and it is difficult to eat full, the soup is also very bad. As a large hotel with dozens of rooms, the outdoor hot spring only has a small wooden barrel and no scenery. The key is that the price is very high

I stayed in a standard Japanese-style room. The room was spacious, the view from the window was great, and the staff were very friendly. The large public bath was equipped with several types of shampoo treatments, and the spring water was the thickest I've ever had, and the breakfast was also luxurious, which surprised me.

I made a reservation from the site on the day of my stay.
You were very flexible with a lot of things.
The inside of the hotel was very quiet and calm.
The large communal bath was perfect, and there were many shampoos and treatments available, and the quality of the springs was very good, and the amenities were perfect.
What surprised me was that there was a case with a key under the basket for changing clothes, so I thought it was well maintained for crime prevention.
I was very satisfied with the hot spring and the meal.
I would like to use it again next time.
