We came here to treat ourselves, celebrating our wedding anniversary, to let our souls unwind and have a luxury wellness weekend. Oh boy, did we hit bullseye! If you wanna know what perfect service is, you have found your destination. Enjoy wellness, beautiful surroundings and top notch cuisine. To be fair and for the sake of completeness, yes the romantic getaway does come at a price, but don‘t forget… you wanted to treat yourself with something.

Nice hotel with a nod to history in scenic location. Friendly welcome upon arrival. The spa is small but modern and functional. The food and service were mediocre and pricy. When we arrived we were told when to eat our pre-booked dinner and staff were not flexible to accommodate our preferences at all. The three-course dinner was OK, and the cheese selection nice. There is a hefty surcharge when planning to use the spa on departure day. Saunas are not even switched on before 10AM and checkout is at 11AM, allowing for little time to use the facilities. Longer use of the SPA is charged at EUR 35 per person, even if it’s just for another hour! All considered not worth it at the premium price point. Other places at a similar price point offer a better package (e.g. Friedrichsruhe), where the SPA is available to use all day long on departure day and even the Spa menu is included. Also, service there is refined, friendly and accommodating, which we didn’t find at Neumühle.

Beautiful hotel located at he country side. 1/2 pension with a excellent kitchen. Good selection of wines. The spa department was also excellent with a snakker swimming pol. We stats in a 2 floor rom with bath snd livingroom downstairs. Good service.

The house is in a perfect location right on the Saale weir. A well-kept garden right on the Saale invites you to linger with deck chairs and parasols. The wellness area deserves 5 stars, the kitchen is of a star standard and deserves special mention. The wine list is varied and offers something for every taste and budget. Nothing is cheap here, but the price-performance ratio is good. When you leave, you get a little treat with a bar and water. A nice gesture! We'll be back

When you drive up you think it is a big old farm. Inside you can see that everything has been renovated in perfect condition. Lovely rooms with good beds. All amenities are available. We had beautiful weather and went to the garden that connects to the passing river. Wonderful beds. The waterfall is very audible. A lot of rain had fallen so there was a lot of water to drain. That doesn't happen silently. At night we had to close the windows to sleep well. But what a great place. The service is great. The restaurant was fine. There is not much choice, but the dishes they serve are good. Meat fish or vegetarian. The matching wines were tasty. Overall a great place to stay for a few days. Wonderful walks to special places. The spa is great. Lovely swimming pool and beautiful saunas and steam bath. It doesn't get any better.

Ein idyllisches Wellnesshotel in traumhafter Lage. Insbesondere in den Sommermonaten ist es durch den Außenbereich zum „entspannen und ruhen“ sagenhaft. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, dafür ist die Nachmittagsjause nicht einem 5-Sternehaus entsprechend. Das Abendessen hat Gourmetcharakter, eine regionale klassische Küche ohne Gourmetniveau wäre wünschenswert. Die Preise für offene Weine (9-13 Euro für 0,1l (!) Weißwein) sind schlichtweg unverschämt.

Wir haben uns 6 Tage Wellness in diesen wundervollen Hotel gegönnt. Übernachtet haben wir in der Junior Suite und waren begeistert- Zimmer sehr sauber und urig eingerichtet. Das Hotelpersonal war zu jederzeit absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Highlight ist das leckere Frühstück mit tollen Eierspeisen, frischen Säften und anderen Leckereien. Das Wellness ist eher einfacher aber absolut ausreichend, empfehlenswert sind die Massagenangebote- wir wurden lange nicht mehr so verwöhnt. Die Lage des Hotels ist top- die Umgebung schön grün und ruhig. Das Hotel baut hier und da kleine, süßen Extras ein, die den Aufenthalt nochmal besonderer machen- täglichen Newsletter zum Frühstück, Nachmittagssnacks im Sinne einer Jause etc. Kleines Minus- im Wellness direkt kein Ruheraum- man muss dafür die Etage wechseln. Ebenso kann man aus dem Wellness direkt nicht an die frische Luft, auch hierfür muss man die Etagen wechseln- hat aber kein Abbruch getan. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Die Qualität der Speisen im Restaurant ist absolut auf Sterne-Niveau. Jedes Abendessen ein Erlebnis. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und die Lage des Hotels ist toll in mitten der Natur. Echt was zum Erholen und Genießen. Durch die Freundlichkeit des Personals fühlt man sich sehr willkommen und wohl.

En geweldige locatie, met super vriendelijk personeel en uitstekend eten. Mooie kamers waar aan niets ontbreekt. Geweldig oud en nieuw viering gehad met een excellent menu en top wijnen. Goede spa met diverse sauna's en verwarmd zwembad. Fijn en mooi dat alles in de oude stijl is bewaard gebleven vooral aan de buitenzijde en de ligging aan een riviertje.
