I originally left this review 3 days ago and wrote it while sitting in reception of hotel. In that review I criticised senior management and the food served within the restaurant, also criticised other areas. Early evening on day I reviewed hotel, we were in our room when we got a phone call inviting us to a meeting with the Manager/ Director of hotel. We sat in his office for 30 minutes where he took notes of all our grievances and promised things would change. To be fair to the Manager he only took up his position 6 days ago. In the 3 days since original review, we have seen a huge difference in lots of areas, there are more waiters round pool area and service is now excellent, no waiting for over an hour to get a drink. The food has improved with more variety, it is not perfect but it is definitely a lot better and continues to improve, keep up the good work and improving. This hotel has some amazing hard working staff, who are very friendly and always welcome you with a warm smile. Hopefully the new management will continue to support the staff and keep improving things. Finally, I just want to say, that my review was genuinely how I felt at the time, the hotel picked up on it and reacted positively by reaching out and listening to our concerns then decided to do something about it. They have turned a negative into a positive within 3 days.
